Hotel Joli Môme

We recently stayed for a week at this hotel. Location is good: the area is nice and quiet, there are good bakeries and restaurants around, and a Metro stop only minutes away. It took about 30 minutes to walk straight down to Place de la Concorde. All the staff were nice, as were the common areas of the hotel. We never took advantage of the afternoon tea at 4pm or the cheese and wine at 6pm, but they are a nice idea. Cleanliness was generally good. The biggest issue I had was with the room. It was small, which I expected, but I wasn't expecting the toilet and shower to be in separate small rooms, or that there wouldn't be a view from the window. The toilet and shower rooms were sort of triangle shaped, which meant there was not much room to dry off after getting out the shower. The smaller shower head also looked a bit grimey. Towels were changed every day, but one day our big towels were taken away and were only replaced with the smaller hand towels. The biggest disappointment for me was not having a view from the window. Instead of looking out over Parisian rooftops, our view was of high walls and windows, which at times made me feel a bit claustrophobic in the room. Looking at other reviews, it seems other standard double rooms have a complete bathroom and can see the sky from their window, so it appears we drew the short straw with our room. Other smaller issues; one morning the fire alarm went off at 7am, which turned out to be a false alarm. The messages the hotel sends are also quite relentless, text after text about how the hotel is a home away from home that don't stop even after you've left. Overall, the sweet treats and the balloons and all the Instagrammable stuff is all very well, but I would have been happier with the basics of being able to see out of the window, and a bathroom I could move around in.

Our stay at Jole Mome was amazing. The staff are increadible and hotel is clean and pretty. We recommend the hotel so much!

This immediately made me feel cared for and at ease. Upon arrival, I was welcomed with open arms. While waiting for check-in, I was invited to choose a drink — orange juice with crackers — a small but thoughtful gesture that set the tone for the entire stay. My room was cozy and charming, and I was touched to find a flower with a personal note, along with a small box of delicious pralines waiting for me. What truly made the experience stand out was the sense of community. Afternoon tea was included, and in the evening there was wine, drinks, cheese, and accompaniments shared with other guests. It was such a warm, relaxed, and genuinely lovely moment. The breakfast was also excellent — fresh, tasty, and served with the same care and warmth as everything else. When checking out, I even received a thoughtful farewell gift: a personal keychain symbolizing the hotel’s concept, a beautiful balloon. Hotel Joli Môme is not just a place to stay — it’s a place that makes you feel welcome, seen, and at home.
