The hotel and the room were both exceptional, and the location was highly convenient. The metro station was nearby, and the Champs Élysées was only a 10 minute walk away, with other major tourist attractions accessible within 30 minutes via the metro.
However, one drawback of our stay was the hotel staff. We only encountered one particularly kind and accommodating staff member, whose name we, unfortunately, forgot to ask. He was truly outstanding and made our experience more pleasant. In contrast, the majority of the staff were quite condescending. We observed that French speaking guests received excellent service, whereas we, as English speaking guests, did not receive the same level of attentiveness or assistance.
It was evident that the staff did not extend the same level of respect to English speakers. Despite this, we remained courteous, expressed our gratitude for their service, and bid them farewell. Regrettably, we will not be returning to this hotel, but we sincerely hope they reconsider their approach toward non
French speaking guests.
