Hotel Amiot

This place is so chique without being too expensive. Lovely contemporary fitout with well appointed rooms. Great water pressure in the shower, comfortable beds, and a coffee machine. We had our 5 year old son with us in the one room on a separate bed. Our room faced into the internal courtyard which meant the room didn’t get any street noise, and no noises could be heard from other rooms or from the corridor. Air-conditioning worked well, allowed us to cool the room down for sleep. The staff were friendly and very helpful, room was very clean. Easy walk to Gare du Nord and Gare L’Est with bags and child! Would definitely stay here again.

I must admit I booked this hotel thinking it was in another part of Paris but kept the booking anyway. We had a larger than expected beautiful room with terrace over the courtyard. Despite being a busy area we couldn't hear any noise. The bed was very comfortable and slept really well. There is a beautiful canal behind the hotel with lots of trendy bars and shops. We had a great stay.

I was so thankful we stayed here because the location. The Olympics were gearing up and so much of the area around the Seine was closed and what was not was very crowded. The location of this hotel, right across from the train station was excellent. Still busy but much more of a local neighborhood which was nice. Metro stop right outside the door. Restaurant next door that was great for lunch- excellent service. Hotel was soundproofed, air conditioning was excellent, and it’s hard to beat waking up and looking at the Sacre Coeur every day. We didn’t have breakfast included with our rate but one morning our daughters wanted to eat there. My wife and I just wanted coffee which the servers allowed us to have for free which was a really nice gesture. Bonus: there is a great Starbucks across the street in the train station.

Just back from a family trip to Disney, followed by a night at Hotel E.S.T.E with my daughter. Everything about it was just amazing - we arrived off the Metro right in front of the hotel (Gare De L'Est). Reception were warm and welcoming, and checked us in to the 7th floor. We got beautiful views of the Eiffel Tower and Basilica de Sacre Cour, took my breath away. We'd opted to have some private spa time (45mins) as part of our booking. It wasn't completely private in that they allow up to 6 people, but we had it completely to ourselves for half an hour, only joined by 2 lovely ladies for the last 15 mins. Robes and slippers were delivered to our room an hour before. There's a steam room, sauna and small hydro pool, it was lush. Our room was small but beautifully appointed - lots of sockets (6 I think), USB ports, gorgeous bathroom with rain shower, and a Samsung smart telly (meant I could project my phone and we could watch a movie on my Netflix in bed). We grabbed dinner at the Burger King over the road. Breakfast was so tasty - lots of choice and quality food - the bread had me back for more. We stored our bags for the day after check out and reception gave us the best directions to the Eiffel Tower using the metro (the metro is so efficient and easy to use). We popped back to grab our bags and change before heading to the airport, and stopped for dinner in the bistro next door to the hotel. Its a cool wee neighbourhood! My daughter had a burger and I got a hot dog - the waiter was a character, and it was a lovely spot to grab dinner before heading off. The whole experience had us both looking forward to our next trip - we will definitely be back!

A quiet and luxurious boutique hotel! This is very well connected by public transport: multiple buses stop on the road outside, the Metro station is just round the corner, and both Gare de l'Est and Gare du Nord are essentially right beside it. We had a wonderful experience both with their Spa (our non-private booking just happened to be private, and they had robes and slippers delivered to our rooms and water waiting out for us) and speedy Room Service. The rooms are compact but very comfortable and classy. The arrondissement that the hotel is in seemed quite residential but there is a large road, easily walkable, directly to the more touristic/busy areas. This may also be a misrepresentation of the area because we went in August - the month that Parisians famously clear out of the city! overall, I'd highly recommend a stay here.
