The hotel's location and cleanliness are good. However, even though we booked a room with a window facing outwards, we ended up with a room that had a window but it was blocked by a wall in front of it. We were very disappointed by this.

Our stay was lovely. Room very nice and bed comfortable. View from our room was great. Very close distance to metro and the Eiffel Tower. Complimentary snacks provided by hotel were a nice touch. Staff were welcoming. A few housekeeping details were missed during our stay. Only one facecloth was provided for two guests, and there was no bottle opener available in the room. On one occasion, towels were removed during room cleaning but not replaced, meaning we had to call and wait for fresh ones to be delivered. Additionally, there was no milk provided in the room for tea or coffee.

A really warm welcome at this establishment, just a 2-minute walk from Gare de Lyon. All amenities are close by, the hotel is clean, and the staff are friendly. A much-appreciated bonus was that after check-out, they offered to store my luggage for the day. A place to remember!

The triple room was spacious and well-equipped, very clean too. It's close to both the train and metro stations, making it a great choice for anyone needing to catch a train. The staff were also very friendly.

A wonderful hotel with a century of history. Everything here was great: from the location to the breakfasts (yes, they were very simple, but they also only cost €14 per person, and I'm not sure you can find anything for that price in Paris). The staff were pleasant, and there's a free luggage storage after check-out.

We stayed in the premium room which was a good size, very good air con which was very much appreciated in a Paris heatwave, comfortable bed and a very nice bathroom. Breakfast was fairly basic but adequate. Given the close location to the Gare de Lyon station which is only 5 minutes away, and the close location of a supermarket i rate this hotel highy. Our rooms was also quiet which was great rowdy soccer celebrations outside.

I really enjoyed my stay in Hotel de France. I highly recommend it. Staff very welcoming, great location, free luggage storage. Nice and quiet room. Will definitely go back.
