I wanted a hotel: - Close to Gare du Nord - to a low price - where you had your own bathroom and - where it was possible to get a breakfast. This was exactly what we got at this hotel - but nothing more. Just as many people have said: it is a rough area, but just two blocks away it is much nicer with a lot of shops and restaurants. It is really close to Gare du Nord (5 minutes) and about 15 minutes walk to Sacre Coeur. Me and my three children (aged 14, 19 and 22) had two rooms. They were small and not fancy at all. The lift was a bit scary, so I had to carry my suitcase up the stairs. The beds were confy and everything was clean, but one of the rooms was facing the street so it was a bit noisy. The check-in was nice and swift. Finally the breakfast: it was almost nothing. A croissant, tea och coffee and a toast. Maybe a yougurt, too. Don't remember. But it was nice to get something before we ran to the train.

Even though I told a receptionist not to enter my room for cleaning, they did. That's because I was afraid something would be missing, but it happened. All paper bags on the desk disappeared. I was going to use them as trash bags because there was no trash box in the bed room. I could understand if they had been beside the trash box and taken away. But, actually, they were on the desk. What if there were something but trashes? Or, as for guests' possession on the desk, do you take away them after checking what was in them? If so, uncomfortable. "You must not touch what is on the desk." Am I wrong? A charging cable was dropped on the floor. When I entered the room after check in at 14, it was so cold. They said the heater was turned off till 19.

Didn't feel safe, felt like the area was like the Bronx, room was basic and not clean, very noisy couldn't sleep. Someone trying the door in night. They'd be better issueing a minder with the room key.

The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The bathroom was OK. Breakfast was negligible although we did get hot fresh croissants. However, there was no breakfast available on our last day. We only paid for the breakfasts that we ate.

The staff were very accommodating and helpful. The value for money was superb. Unfortunately, I didn’t feel comfortable walking the area at night. I will gladly stay there again.

Okey so I don’t even know where to start. I arrive and the door to the hotel is locked? Which is odd considering they state they have a 24 hour open reception. Nevertheless a guy lets me in. I get my key at the reception and the guy tells me which floor and that oh btw there’s a Bit of renovation going on but I won’t even notice. Well my room is on first floor and the entire hallway is covered in paper. The room itself looks like it definitely hasn’t undergone a renovation in a long long time, and it definitely doesn’t resembles the picture on the website. It says on *********** theres Wi-Fi in the room but as it turns out it apparently only works in the reception. Also It says in the description the room has a dryer it doesn’t. Also there’s a voltage box in the room, probably not the safest.. The tv screen is probably the smallest I’ve ever seen and the duvet doesn’t have a cover, kind of gross as I don’t expect they wash it after every visit. And now to the ongoing renovation I won’t even notice, I been hearing people working in the past couple of hours now, and it is now 20:42 and someone is happily hammering away. Otherwise it would be fine except if it wasn’t for the person deciding it was a good idea to have a bell on the front door, so every time someone goes in or out it goes of, and with renovation going on a lot of people are going through the door. Can’t help but thinking how that will work during the night if people come back late. The area is super sketchy, I was travelling as a female alone and definitely wouldn’t recommend that for anyone. Especially not if you were Planning to be out after dark. Now to the upsides, the hotel is close to gare du nord so easy to locate and get around. If you just need a Room for one night this would be an okey option considering price and location.. otherwise I wouldn’t recommend it

Nice Staff, but I guess that was it.. We had one night at this hotel. Near Mont-Matre and the Metro, but the area felt really unsafe. A lot of noise from the streets all night so not easy to sleep. Ok hotel for 1 night, but I would not recommend a stay here with children.
