We recently stayed here for two nights to celebrate our anniversary, and while there were some lovely touches, the overall experience fell short of what we’d expect from a 5-star hotel. The positives: The location is excellent, and we were genuinely touched by the thoughtful gesture of champagne and a fruit salad prepared for our anniversary. That personal touch meant a lot to us. Check-in: I had requested an early check-in at the time of booking, months in advance, but this wasn’t honoured. The reception team was apologetic and it seemed the previous guests had checked out late, so I understand it may have been out of their hands — though it was still a disappointing start. Luggage handling: Upon opening our suitcase, we discovered that one of our skincare products had been broken, which suggests our luggage wasn’t handled with adequate care by the concierge team. Breakfast: The breakfast offering was quite limited for a hotel of this calibre. The saving grace was the stunning view of Paris — truly beautiful — but the food selection itself left something to be desired. Housekeeping: We explicitly requested no bed/room service during our stay, but returned to find our room had been cleaned regardless. Having our wishes ignored was frustrating, especially in a hotel that should pride itself on attention to detail. Overall, the location is hard to fault, but the lack of attention to guest requests and the few mishaps we encountered didn’t reflect the standard we’d expect from a 5-star experience.

Location is good as metro station is only a few minutes walk. The staff are all kind and polite. The Bonnie Restaurant is perfect.

Located in a quiet area away from the tourist crowds in 1st district. Plenty of dining and shopping places in Marais and Bastille within walkable distance for locals that you can get an authentic experience. You can get a uber to most places at very affordable prices. The subway 3 minute walk away also has a ticket counter that you can manually purchase all types of transport tickets, load up money without struggling with faulty vending machines. Best rooftop restaurant to enjoy the view of Effie tower, note dame and monmatre every breakfast. Jesus at the front desk is top notch for helping us with taxi and luggage every time. River facing room has good views and great amenities. Love the little surprise gifts at every turndown service. As someone who has been to Paris many times. I much prefer this 3 year old new hotel to many other 5 star hotels in haussman buildings with old infrastructure and small rooms. Will stay again!

Took long time to bring milk for a baby More then a hour

Quite upset about the Hotel. From the first day we arrive, we started asking for upgrading a suite on from third night onwards, as we were staying there for four nights in total. Everyday we ask if we can see a suite (to see if its good fit), the excuses were the manager is busy, room is available a little bit later (but nothing was available to view) etc. then on the third day where we ask we want to get the suite then the answer was a NO they are all booked, absolutely no follow up and poor communication. Then onto the room itself, the toilet flush is ridiculously strong, even shutting the lid water would splash out because of the pressure, means all the water from the toilet bowl is going on the seat … very unhygienic. On our third night, also the shower handheld hose and handheld came loose apart; luckily the engineering team came and fixed pretty fast.

the hotel was great, nice location and good service. especially the view is superb. will recommend for any tourists

This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in Paris, without a doubt. The service at the hotel is very poor; I had to wait 4 hours to check in. The hotel staff did not take good care of the guests' luggage at all, and they didn't even greet us. As for the hotel facilities: the bathroom was in complete disarray, with a shared toilet for both genders. The pipes in the shower room constantly made noise, which was very anxiety-inducing. How can a hotel be so bad at this price!
