It was wonderful to be there, thanks for having us and providing good services. Everything was superb, value for money. I don't understand why people have given the bad ratings, I stayed on the 5th floor, the room was clean and properly set up, the shared washroom was properly cleaned and sanitized, the bed was super comfortable, and what else? An iron they gave for clothes, a really good shared shower room. The hotel should be listed at 5 stars. I found nothing wrong. The staff was nice and helpful. We went for a quick trip for 2 days for a Proposal photoshoot and our budget was really less and F1 was the only hotel offering the pricing as per our budget, we were afraid to see the reviews on TA but still thought of trying It. Trust me, everything was excellent, much more than expected. I will stay always there for future trips, will not waste money on expensive hotels unnecessarily which are equally Good. Give it a try yourself and I am sure you are going to love it.

Perfect location being in the centre of Paris and is a couple stops away from the Louvre museum on the metro. It is also allows quick and convinient travel to other main central tourist spots. The hotel is situated on a key road where many embassies closely reside (British, Japanese, American, Canadian etc.), hence there is heavy government security staff and is a very safe location to stay in, in addition to the mainy designer retail stores and boutiques also situated on the same road and surrounding areas. The hotel itself looks modern, chique and promising upon entering into the reception, however the front desk staff were two men who did not seem entirely friendly and welcoming and failed to greet us properly upon arrival. There should have been better hotel staff etiquette. The room was ckean, basic and minimal in decor but unfortunately quite small, particularly the bathroom. For a 4* hotel, I would've expected a better modern decor, toiletries and complimentary items, for example handwash liquid bottles, cotton buds and shower caps as well as more bottles of water (there was only 1 provided upon arrival when there were 2 of us). There was no wow factor and seemed pretty basic.. there have been 3* hotel rooms I have stayed in which have been more impressive in size, decor and supplementaries. The TV channels are all in French which doesn't consider other main languages of international tourists so we had little indoor entertainment. There were also initial issues with the shower head in the bathroom too which was thankfully fixed by a staff member quickly after we brought it to their staff's attention. Street views of boutiques and official government buildings were quite nice. The worst part was that there was no sound proofing in the room. First night was the worst sleep I've had in a hotel and I could literally hear everything from the surrounding rooms (creeking, flushing, piping etc) as well as outdoor drunken shouting, even with the windows closed. The hotel appears to have selectively refurbished rooms, which I also read from other reviews seem to have better sound proofing anf modern decor. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like there is any intention to update all the rooms to match the same 4* quality standard, which how management appear to be controlling the room prices. Hence, my best recommendation is to pay more for a refurbished room/prestige room to get a better stay experience (not the superior rooms because there is nothing superior about them).

This is a classic boutique feeling European hotel. The rooms are very small but we found space for all our clothes and items for the week and tucked our suitcases out of the way. It's a relatively quiet area at night. The water pressure and water temp was amazing (one thing I struggle with at European hotels a lot!). Great area to get where you need to go, Paris is huge so you end up taking uber/metro/bus no matter where you stay. There's a wonderful chocolate shop and a couple of cafes just around the corner but the star is the tiny market across the street that has just about anything you would need. Please remember this is a 4 star hotel not 5 star. If you want a 5 star hotel, go pay 5 star prices. The front desk staff was amazing, I listened to one speak 3 different languages helping all of the guests within about 5 minutes. We had a great week ans would definitely return to this hotel.

My husband and I just got back from a week-long trip to Paris, and we scored a wonderful hotel in the 8th arrondissement--the Hotel Amastan. We stayed in Room 21 which was incredibly spacious--I believe it's the best room in the hotel. From the moment we arrived, the service was courteous and helpful. Felicity answered some questions over the phone before we arrived, and we were able to meet her during our stay--what a friendly person! Our room was kept very clean every day, and we had enough space to move around and set aside our suitcases. The bathroom was huge, and we had double sinks. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, yet the hotel is steps away from the Champs-Elysées and also from two metro stops. The best part of the hotel, however, was the concierge / bartender named Mehdi. He is an expert at finding Paris' best restaurants, and he made reservations for us for some wonderful dinners. It was great to converse with him over drinks at the hotel's bar, and he was truly helpful and insightful. Definitely try his French style aperol spritz! He made our stay at the hotel extra special, and we feel lucky to have met him and to have stayed at the Hotel Amastan.

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work. This is a wonderful hotel to stay. The location is perfect for any trip you planning in Paris. There are many supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The breakfast was delicious. The staff at the hotel is friendly and helpful. They speak several languages. A free coffee machine in the room was a wonderful thing to have. Overall it was a pleasure to visit this place.

Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teens) loved our stay here! We had adjacent rooms tucked together in a corner hallway. The rooms were comfortable and had everything we needed. It was so nice to have two bathrooms between us. The lighting was great in bathroom and bedroom. The staff was phenomenal. So friendly, helpful and accommodating. Our flight to Paris was delayed 6 hours and we didn’t arrive until midnight, and when we emailed the hotel they said no problem. Ariel and Clair at breakfast were amazing. They greeted us with big smiles and helpful hints about our visit. It was my birthday and they brought a muffin out with a candle and sang happy birthday to me! My husband and kids told Claudia at the front desk it was my birthday and she surprised me with balloons and a delicious chocolate torte complete with candles! It was so sweet! The location was very convenient. Easy walk to many sights and lots of nearby shops and cafes There are renovations at the hotel but they didn’t disrupt our stay and Claudia says they will be completed this summer. I’m sure the hotel will be even more amazing!

The location is unbeatable as far as distance from many historic attractions. For the price of the room ($700) it is quite expensive as the room is simple, as are the amenities. Most of the hotel staff were friendly. Check in and check out went smoothly. When I went to ask about a power adapter, the person I spoke to was short and rude with me. My partner is French and everyone was more friendly with him and willing to help.

We were impressed by the size of the room and loved the aspect, looking out onto the boulevard. Bathroom was fine - shower over the bath and the bath was quite deep so it could be a bit difficult getting in and out if you are of a certain age. Little kitchen was fine, had some difficulty working the microwave and there was no toaster. Fridge and dishwasher (with plenty of tablets provided) worked well. Didn't have the breakfast. Although this is in a non tourist area, everything is within easy reach and many places to eat within a few minutes walk. There is a small supermarket opposite and a sandwich shop next door. Would recommend to all.

Facilities: good Hygiene: very good Environment: It is relatively close to the subway station, and the Carrefour supermarket is only 50 meters away. The surrounding houses and streets are typical Parisian features. Service: When language communication is not smooth, the front desk will take the initiative to provide translation software for translation.
