Hotels near Theatre de La Ville in Paris

Very good stay in this hotel. The room was very clean, the bathroom very spacious and the service impeccable.

Stopped for 1 night, chose as the nearest hotel to the airport to catch the flight in the morning. Depressed grey design, dirty carpets at the entrance, staff not wearing badge. The respiratory rooms were confused, our friends gave the key to the busy room, well that the guests we woke up (we settled at 1 hour of the night) closed the door to the chain. Our room was e-chaiter, stove, refrigerator. The designer was probably with a good sense of humor because between the sandwich and the head of the bed instead of the wall a big transparent window! It can be closed with a curtain, but! The curtain is located on the side of the room, that is, only the person in the room decides to close them or open))) is not much if you sleep a little bit, when the light is on in the toilet, the feeling that the light is on in the room above your head. The interior is scratched, scratched on the floor, table, windows go out to the parking and they are very dirty. No soap and shower hat, e. the soots are uncomfortable and they are few, part is located in the floor itself, there is over the e. the stove, but there is no bed. Breakfast is scarce, cruissant, toasts, jam, cheese, sausage, surprised plastic devices! In general, the hotel creates the impression of uncomfortable and unpleasant, one night can be stayed, but there is no desire to return here.

Stayed at the hotel back in December 18/January 19 over the new year for 5 nights with my girlfriend. First of all it looked lovely from the outside, really old school, authentic looking french building, very beautiful. It was located in a good location, just a short walk away from the Eiffel Tower and situated around lots of restaurants, cafes & bars! There are also two metro stations very close by and lots of shops. Also we found a brilliant location if you are keen on your walking, if your a keen walker we got to all the major attractions within maximum an hour on foot. The major issue we had with the hotel was the size of the room really, the pictures on the website were very deceiving - ultimately it wasn’t a major issue as we weren’t actually in the room a lot but when your somewhere for 5 days there was limited space in the room to relax and for storage plus the bathroom was VERY small. But the room was always as clean as it could be, it’s very old fashioned and I would say in need of a freshen up but non the less a lovely spot, friendly staff and we enjoyed our stay. The lifts were also very dated and just be careful as you literally walk straight out the lifts on to a spiral staircase, sometimes a little tricky after a sherbert or two.

Very charming hostel in the midst of Montmartre, at the foot of Sacre Cœur. The personnel speak French as well as English and are very helpful. There are both single rooms and dormitory and a small kitchen if you want to cook. A special secret is the outside terrasse on the first floor for both a calm breakfast and for meeting other guests in the evening!

This comfortable and beautiful hostel is so near the Bercy Bus and Train station. You can go the city center and all tourists places via metro, buses in a very short time. There are several good restaurants and cafes near the hostel to eat or have a drink. The room stayed was so clean and comfortable. It also had a balcony. The staff are so kind, understanding,smiled-face and helpful people. I thank them all. If you want to visit Paris for a couple of days as a solo traveller like me, this beautiful, peaceful and safe hostel is a great place for you. I strongly recommend it.

Decided to book a last minute trip to Paris & my partner had booked this hotel as part of a package. Upon searching the hotel, I was very skeptical how this hotel would be and had very low standards of arriving due to all the reviews I’d read. The room & hotel were clean and tidy, staff are lovely and nothing was a hassle for them, breakfast was brought out quickly and re-filled if finished! Only downfall being how tiny the bathroom is, quite a struggle getting round about everything in the bathroom as it’s all packed in so tightly & the mattress was a bit uncomfortable, but that bit wasn’t too much of a bother to me as the pillows made up for it! Two stars knocked off primarily for the size of bathroom and mattress but can’t grumble too much due to the price paid! Still very happy and satisfied with our stay.

Had to book this last minute and any hotel you book last minute in Paris is going to cost more than you really want to pay. However, this one wasn't quite as exorbitant as others in the same area: judging by the notices in French, English and Russian, I assume they normally have a lot of Russians staying there who currently cannot due to world events. Gare du Nord is walking distance if you're arriving by train (so is Gare de l'Est). Chose the area because one band I wanted to see were playing in La Villette one day and another in La Défense the next. There's a Métro line straight back from La Villette and a Transilien running from Gare St Lazare (also walking distance) to La Défense, meaning I could actually get some sleep the night between the two gigs and still get to the queue early. Room was small, but tastefully furnished, with the sort of furniture that reminds you that you're in France. Nice powerful shower of the sort you seldom find in hotel rooms these days, although the shower doors sometimes came out or their tracks, which was annoying. Room gets very hot in summer, but owners obviously aware of this and there was a highly effective tower fan. One odd thing happened concerning cups. Lots of tea and coffee, which was good, but there were only paper cups, which the housekeeping staff kept not replacing after use, even though they replenished the tea and coffee. Eventually, there were no cups left. Had to mention this at reception, whereupon I got more paper cups. Overall, decent place and probably the best I could have found in the circumstances.

Stayed here for 7 nights for our holiday in Paris. Service was great from check in to concierge to helping us open wines we bought outside. The concierge helped me to book the taxi to CDG, smooth and reliable. Our family room was spacious, and offered a great view to the Latin Quarter. Comfortable beds and well designed bathroom is exactly what we needed after long days in museums. The location was very convenient. Only 3 mins walk to Montparnasse station, and there is super market 1 minute away, which opens as early as 7am.

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work. The location is nice and close to the metro station, the staff are friendly and great services. The best part is that I made friends who had similar interests and wanted to explore Paris like I did. Would highly recommend for solo travelers the area is safe and convenient to anywhere you want to see within Paris🩷
