YYouyiyunThis B&B's rooms are equipped with a full smart home system and oxygen supply, plus a mini-fridge stocked with drinks. The air conditioning heating was very quiet, making for a very comfortable stay. The breakfast was also excellent and varied. Everyone at the B&B was so welcoming, and they even included pick-up and drop-off service. Looking forward to coming back next time!

BBarry MichaelA Warm Home in Shangri-La - Definitely Choose Wufan Shanjian!
The luckiest choice of my trip to Shangri-La was definitely Wufan Shanjian Light Luxury Homestay, and the biggest surprise was meeting the owner couple, a local ******* pair. The simplicity and enthusiasm unique to Tibetans in them filled the entire journey with warmth.
From the moment we landed, we were surrounded by their thoughtfulness: they not only took the initiative to pick us up at the high-speed railway station but also carefully reminded us not to rush to take a bath just after arriving on the plateau and to remember to turn on the oxygen concentrator at night. A family member traveling with us had a bit of altitude sickness, and the landlady Zhuoma immediately brought Coke and glucose to relieve the discomfort. In the evening, she specially brought warm yak milk and fresh grapes. Even the child kept saying that Aunt Zhuoma was as kind as family. The husband was simple and enthusiastic. When he saw that we had trouble parking, he immediately helped park the car without hesitation, so we didn't have to worry at all. When we wanted to find delicious skewers or plan the route around Napahai, they could always give the most authentic suggestions and even recommend reliable stores, which were more useful than the strategies we made.
The environment of the homestay is impeccable. As a person with a bit of obsessive-compulsive disorder about cleanliness, the cleanliness here completely exceeded expectations - the rooms are bright and tidy, the bed sheets and quilt covers have no peculiar smell at all, and even the bathroom is cleaned spotlessly. The facilities are also very considerate, with full-house floor heating and smart devices. The oxygen concentrator by the bed can automatically adjust the oxygen concentration, completely solving the worry about sleeping on the plateau. What's more surprising is that the location is in the center of the ancient town, only a three-minute walk to the prayer wheel, making it very convenient for shopping and dining.
During the few days staying here, I was moved by the details every day: free down jackets and umbrellas, pre-prepared moisturizing masks, hot breakfast in the morning, and even after leaving, when we found that we had forgotten something, the boss would carefully send it back. This kind of warmth that is not family but better than family made the beauty of Shangri-La more concrete. Next time I come, I will definitely stay here again!

📍 Amazing Location: It's right next to the Napa Lake scenic area, with a large lawn on the first floor directly facing the snow-capped mountains. The 'golden mountain' sunset in the evening was breathtaking. They also offer beautiful ******* outfits for guests.
🛏 Perfect Room: The entire house has underfloor heating and diffused oxygen supply, ensuring a good night's sleep even at high altitudes – a godsend for anyone worried about altitude sickness! With panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, waking up to grassland and morning light after pulling back the curtains was incredibly therapeutic.
🐶 Pet Paradise: The owner has many small animals – 'Coke' the Samoyed, lambs, and cats. Pet lovers will be completely smitten, it's so heartwarming!
🍜 Delicious Breakfast: The freshly cooked Yunnan rice noodles are a specialty. A warm bowl of these starts your day off perfectly.
In short, it's not flashy, but every single detail hit just the right spot for me. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Shangri-La.

The hotel has a distinct ******* style that's quite unique. Our room was spacious and clean, with underfloor heating throughout and dispersed oxygen, which perfectly eased any altitude sickness. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered fantastic views of the ancient town and distant mountains. The bedding was also soft and comfortable, showing great attention to detail.
The service was warm and attentive. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the Great Prayer Wheel, making it very convenient for getting around. The staff were gentle and polite, and incredibly thoughtful. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Shangri-La.

GGuest UserThis hotel is conveniently located right by the East Gate of Dukezong Ancient City. It's super easy to catch the shuttle bus to the scenic spots – just cross the street! While it's a little bit of a walk to the main ancient city area, that actually makes it quieter, which is great for a good night's sleep. The front desk offers a bunch of handy items, even heated eye masks. There's a laundry room where you can wash and dry your clothes, and they even provide a thoughtful pick-up and drop-off service, which is very convenient. The breakfast selection is quite diverse too. Our room was clean and tidy, and it came with dispersed oxygen, which was a nice touch. Overall, it's a pretty good place to stay.

GGuest UserMy husband and I came to Shangri-La, and I knew this hotel was quite famous because of 'Running Man' [a TV show], haha. But honestly, the fame was secondary; what I really loved was their service. The staff were great, very prompt in helping with our luggage and everything else.
We arrived in the morning, around 9 AM, and the front desk lady was so thoughtful. She asked if we'd had breakfast and, since we were hungry, she even let us have an extra breakfast. Haha!
Black Bean Coffee House Afternoon Tea: I ordered a cup before heading to the main town for photos in the morning. I honestly think it's better than Starbucks; I really liked that rich, mellow flavor. It shows the establishment puts a lot of care into their offerings.
24-hour Butler Service: I experienced some altitude sickness in Shangri-La and couldn't sleep well in the middle of the night. The butler responded very quickly and helped me with an oxygen tank and other necessities.
Finally, there were homemade cookies as a parting gift, which my husband absolutely loved, hahaha! It was definitely worth the long time I spent choosing this manor for our trip. I'd definitely come back if I get the chance.

The location is absolutely breathtaking. The hotel overlooks vast green meadows with magnificent mountain views, creating a picture-perfect landscape. On clear mornings, we were fortunate enough to witness the sunrise illuminating the mountain peaks with a beautiful golden glow—a truly unforgettable sight. From the comfort of the room, you can simply relax, enjoy the tranquility, and watch horses grazing and running freely across the fields. It feels like stepping into a painting.
One of the highlights of our stay was the opportunity to experience the local ******* culture. The hotel thoughtfully offers activities such as ******* incense making and traditional ******* butter tea tasting, allowing guests to gain a deeper appreciation of the region’s rich heritage. These experiences made our trip even more meaningful.
The hotel itself is designed for relaxation. Whether you’re travelling as a couple seeking a romantic getaway or as a family looking for a quiet retreat, you’ll find it easy to slow down and fully immerse yourself in the peaceful surroundings.
The food and hospitality deserve special recognition. Breakfast offers an excellent variety of delicious choices, and we were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary daily afternoon tea and evening desserts. These thoughtful touches made us feel genuinely cared for. The warm dessert served in the evening was especially comforting after a day of sightseeing and was a wonderful way to unwind while helping us acclimatize to the high altitude.
Another feature we greatly appreciated was the oxygen-infused rooms. The additional oxygen made a noticeable difference and helped us adjust much more comfortably to Shangri-La’s elevation, allowing us to rest well and enjoy our trip without worrying about altitude discomfort.
Finally, the staff were consistently warm, friendly, and attentive throughout our stay. Their genuine hospitality made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived.
This hotel offers so much more than just a place to stay—it’s a destination in itself. Between the stunning scenery, authentic cultural experiences, thoughtful amenities, and exceptional service, it created one of the most memorable stays of our trip. We would not hesitate to return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shangri-La.

AAgathe2This hotel was the best stay of my trip in Sichuan / Yunnan. I cherish the countryside and i was apply to go out of the city to enjoy the slow life, the real life with nature and animals. This stay gave me everything!
The owners, 仁安 里 and Jiren, welcomed me like a was family. I was starving and they invited me to have dinner with them. It was really nice and i felt really included into their community.
The room was spacious, luminous, and confortable with a huge bed ! I really loved staying on the sofa in the morning, when the sun was blazing. The breakfast was good and generous.
My favorite day was to discover the surrounding of the hotel, walking in the village, seeing all the cute animals (cows, baby cows, dogs, cats, poneys, roosters).
The owner was so considerate to me, he drove me to Shangri-La city center because no taxis were available. Visiting the old town, i was so happy to have chosen a hotel away from this touristic place. He also picked me up and drop me off at the train station.
I would absolutely recommend and return to this hotel. I loved it very much. It gave me the opportunity to relax, discover ******* culture and amazing people, and live the slow life.

They even upgraded us to a scenic view room free of charge! The overall hotel design perfectly blends with the mountain views and natural surroundings. There are many popular photo spots, including an outdoor pool and observation deck. The hotel's dining options were also excellent, with both breakfast and afternoon tea being high-standard. The hotel's coffee shop is also a must-visit!
