I really enjoyed staying here! Definitely a no frills stay, but the rooms are really cutely decorated and CLEAN!!! The woman in the office, I forgot to ask her name, was so lovely. I asked to check in a little early because I had to tutor via computer at 3 and check out a little later because I again had a meeting in the morning until 11, and she allowed that easily. Perhaps this would not always be the case but I was very grateful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very minor issues... the clock in the room was one hour off... the bathroom lights are FREAKISHLY bright! and the toilet paper holder was broken. These are SUCH minor issues... and we will use the Astro Motel again in the future.

The carpet was very dirty. The shower-water pressure was very poor... could not get a good shower. The front desk clerk who claimed to be the owner... was very rude and non-responsive when we requested for a large towel.
The only good thing is that the bed is comfortable.

Check in and check out was simple. The ac/heater was extremely loud and It was so cold it needed to be on. I struggled with the in shower amenities because the dispensers did not work. The shower head released one stream of water l. It was cold and prolonged the shower because of practically no water pressure. Only stairs available. The material that the fooor is made of (stood on second) is slippery when it rains. The following morning when trying to sleep there was banging going on for hours. We were not informed work was to be done and our room was right next to what looked like a janitors closet so I assume the noise was coming from there.

The cleaning staff did a horrible job at cleaning the room. The rugs were dirty and i found a silverfish in the shower. The pictures are deceiving. There is only one room with a bath tub i was told. I thought our room would have come with a tub but it didnt.
