Savoy Hotel Manila near Airport NAIA Terminal 3 MNL 

This hotel is incredibly close to the airport, right across from it. I stayed on the eighth floor, and the soundproofing was decent, but it couldn't block out the motorbike noise. The service was generally good. However, there was a slight sewer smell coming from the bathroom, and the hairdryer's power was a bit weak. They offer in-room massage services, but you have to go to the front desk to pay by card immediately after your massage. The pool is shallow, with live music by the poolside, and it's quite enjoyable for a swim, but it closes at 8 PM, so you have to make the most of it. Also, despite being close to the airport (about a 20-minute walk), the pedestrian walkways aren't very convenient; you often encounter obstacles that force you onto the road. Taking a taxi would be a better option.

This hotel was a decent pick for a one-night layover. Right across the back alley, there's a Popeyes, which I personally think is even better than Jollibee. There are also plenty of other restaurants in that same back alley, or you can take a 15-minute walk to Airport Terminal 3 for more dining options. The location is definitely convenient. While the facilities are a bit dated, they're well-maintained and clean, which makes up for it.
