We booked 6 months prior for a girls trip for 1 week. 4 of us for our 60th birthday. We requested two rooms next to one another or at least close. You failed miserably and I’m so disappointed. After many visits, I brought my entire friend group for a 60th birthday celebration for the 4 of us. Our only request, rooms next to one another or close. You assigned us rooms not nearly close and on different floors. We stayed for a week!!! I have brought my family and friends to enjoy your resort on several occasions and I will no longer promote your resort. You embarrassed me and impacted the enjoyment of our trip. You have a great product. Get it together!!! You’re a high dollar organization. You should be able to accommodate a simple request. Or…say you cant!!! You have lost a loyal customer Ayer’s. This is a relatively modern and very clean property; we had a family room which included a small kitchen area and sofa as well as two good sized beds. We could not fault the room or the quality of service, and the included breakfast was great for the price. The only things that detracted from our stay were (1) some very loud neighbours after the state fair and (2) our disappointment that Paso Robles itself was not quite as interesting as the marketing had led us to expect but neither of these were things that Holiday Inn could control. We were on a US West Coast road trip and this was to break up our journey from Carmel to Santa Barbara. If we do a similar trip in future we’ll stay in Morro Bay instead.

Best Hotel I have fell into in long while. Every amenity one can imagine in the room, all doors are 3 steps from one’s car ( if on ground floor-recommend), vegetation looks like a garden park, and staff is impeccable. I will fall into here again! Ah, and $5 coupon to Margie’s Diner on property. If you need a getaway office for a day or two, this is the place!

Just a few blocks north of downtown, in an industrial area, but a very short couple minute drive to downtown. Very nice rooms, nice free breakfast in the morning, with controls to make sure you are staying in the hotel to get access. I would highly recommend in Paso.

Nice modern newer hotel in Atascadero, convenient for visiting Paso Robles, Morro Bay, SLO and Avila Beach (as long as you have a car). Minutes from the 101. PROS: Plenty of free parking, well lit. Modern, clean, newer hotel with up-to-date decor. Friendly front-desk person. Pool, gym, business center and breakfast included. Nice spacious breakfast area. Wall Street Journal available in lobby. Quiet stay until our last night when we had to call the front desk twice when a rabble of people were being very loud on our floor after 'Quiet Hours'. Vending machines and small shop with essentials available downstairs. CONS: I was not impressed that they don't offer housekeeping/a room refresh unless you're staying more than 5 days, although there was the option to ask for new towels at the front desk. When you're paying around the $200/night mark, you expect to come back at the end of a busy day to have at least your bed made and the room refreshed. I was told that 'People like the fact nobody enters the room while they're gone'. While this is one advantage, this is basically post-Covid corporate greed speak for 'It's a good excuse to not spend money and hire people to clean and make back some money we lost'. If I don't get my room cleaned, I might as well rent a room in someone's house through an on-line app. Breakfast food was your typical hotel chain buffet with sugary yogurts, cheap breads/bagels, rubbery eggs, brown spotted bananas, etc. When are hotels going to start offering more quality food? At least it's something to put in your belly before you go out for the day and you don't have to traipse the streets looking for breakfast. All-day coffee and tea in the lobby would be a nice touch like some other chains offer. I found the bathroom dimly lit, despite a light around the mirror. Great place to stay in Paso. Walk to old town with lots of cute shops and great restaurants. Also have a restaurant and full bar on the property. Hotel is old and some of the rooms are on the small side but the beds are very comfortable and the grounds are so cute.

I stayed for three nights and this is what I have to say: The room was spacious and super clean. They do room service every day without asking. The office hosts will asked to write the names of all guest and car plate number. Too many construction trucks (big and wide) on one day I had a bit of a hard time exiting the parking. On one night there was a group of men outside next to my room smoking weed so I told the front desk and they immediately resolve the issue. I saw at least one homeless person each day outside of hotel but there was also police around the area and I did feel safe walking during day time. The pool was fun my kids had fun. No breakfast included but there is great food within walking distance.

I booked a suite for myself and 2 toddlers. Paid extra for the suite to give them a separate sleeping area. The evening front desk manager took a long time asking me 1000 questions about my preferences for a room which I half listened to as I managed my kids. I thought I was clear about just wanting the room type I booked and thought that was understood. Got to the room and it's a standard 2 bed room, not a suite. Called down. Now I'm told the suite I booked wasn't available. Like...just tell me that in the first place instead of trying to hustle me into thinking you're downgrading me for ”my preference.” No compensation was offered. Nice enough place, rooms a bit old but not terrible. Probably their front desk could use a little training on managing the rooms inventory with your third-party partners. Not confirming my room type at check in is also not good practice. Amy (?) at the breakfast bar was phenomenal. She was automatically my kids favorite person in the place she was so sweet with them, and comp'd my coffee 😊. She's the only reason this isn't a one star review.

1st trip with another couple since Covid stopped our travel. Props: Beautiful property not far from the 46 Hwy. well maintained landscaping & tastefully decorated rooms, each individually appointed with a Tuscan feel. We were in Pinot Grigio which had a great balcony overlooking the vineyard. Comfortable queen bed & pullout sofa bed. Large bathroom with tub & separate shower room. Small kitchen/bar area & fridge. On sire restaurant serving breakfast & dinner. Food was good & not too expensive. All the staff were very friendly & tried to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Cons: No hair dryer. Staff eventually located one for me but I had to go to the restaurant with wet hair the 1st night. Pullout sofa had food in it so when we were ready for be we had to get new bedding to change the sheets! Could not get A/C to work, assumed it was our error & did not want to be disturbed again so just left it. The room was hot. Next night we tried the A/C again but could not get it to work. Maintenance had to come to fix it. They did but that meant we were late to bed for a 2nd night. The room was hot & so took a long time to get to a comfortable temperature. Not worth the price.

Clean Hotel, Great Breakfast, Overall good stay. Only issue was that my tv was not working in my room and my tub wasn’t able to stay clogged, the water drained. I mentioned it to the front desk staff and they were aware of it, Manuel was really helpful and was very kind and generous to help me move my items to my room since I am disabled. He went up and tried to work the things out and I ended up getting a different room. Very happy with this stay and will be back in September!
