Residence Rododendro

Having decided a few days before to go to Trentino for a few days, the biggest problem was finding comfortable accommodation close to the most beautiful places to visit. At the beginning we looked for the entire week of mid-August and then opted for a shorter period given the storm forecast after mid-August. We were immediately struck by Val di Fassa, the border point between Trentino and Alto Adige. In particular Moena. But we couldn't find anything cheap. So the thought came to me to look towards the San Pellegrino Pass, a famous historical location from the First World War and in that very location I found a lovely residence just 10 km from Moena. The Rododendro Residence takes its name from a particular flower that adorns these mountain places with its lively color and called "alpine rose". The owner of this beautiful structure is Daniel with his young staff. The structure offers various types of apartments with living room with sofa bed and kitchenette, bedrooms and bathroom and balconies with incomparable views. The availability shown both for the booking and for the accommodation and the services at the low price granted to me make it one of the best hotel facilities in the area as far as I'm concerned. Equipped with ample outdoor parking and an automatic garage with two lifts, a large breakfast room with fireplace, a well-stocked billiard and table football bar and an outdoor sunbathing area. Functional and well furnished apartments. And here is the true great ability of Daniel and his staff. Having been able to achieve all this from a timeshare that ended up at a judicial auction and having made it not the usual abandoned skeleton but a valid hotel structure which in the future will certainly be able to bring prestige to the area and a beautiful and safe "refuge" for the many tourists who want to visit the Dolomites without giving up practically anything. A stone's throw from winter ski slopes with modern and functional cable cars and ski lifts. In front of majestic peaks and woods with waterfalls of spring water. And areas that tell in their paths and artefacts the Great History of a Great War fought between Italians and Austrians in these areas and of which trenches and forts still remain visible so as not to forget those heroes who liberated and united our homeland. a shame!!! so as not to call it a scam I booked 2 apartments with another family, speaking with Mr. Daniel, who very professionally sent a confirmation email with a request for a deposit, and with the cancellation police in case of cancellation. we sent the 30% deposit for both apartments by bank transfer. As scheduled by their police, one month before the departure date we were forced not to leave due to a serious health problem. Contacted Daniel many times, following a formal email, he promised the refund of the deposit, which never happened, despite certified e-mail. ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED

A fantastic ski week, the manager Daniel was very good and friendly, Manolo the Chef made us eat magnificently. The wellness area consists of a swimming pool and sauna, the cars are kept in the garage protected from low temperatures and each apartment comes with its own box where you can keep your skis and boots. The slopes can be reached with a 100 meter walk and you return with skis on. I highly recommend it to everyone.

Excellent cuisine by chef Manolo, exquisite dishes and a very kind and welcoming person. His dishes are worth tasting. I highly recommend him to anyone who will have the opportunity to taste his cuisine!!

We stayed for 5 days in August in this very welcoming location surrounded by greenery and nature! Breathtaking views! Quite large rooms and above all Excellent value for money! Family atmosphere, it feels just like home! The owner/manager Daniel is really super helpful, cheerful and funny who immediately welcomed us with a big smile! Even his collaborators are always very courteous and kind! We will definitely be back! Highly recommended!

Excellent location close to many ski lifts and convenient to anywhere. Excellent food and an often unobtainable kindness on the part of Daniel who manages everything. Also equipped with a really effective sauna after a day on the snow

Abbiamo soggiornato qui per 3 notti a capodanno. Un gioiellino a pochi passi dagli impianti e gestito da Daniel e il suo staff. Je sono davvero alla mano ma allo stesso tempo professionali. Ovviamente, essendo al passo, non ci sono vicino negozi per lo shopping o altri servizi non prettamente collegati allo sci. Ci sono invece il noleggio attrezzatura e l'ufficio skipass. La sera si arriva a 'casa' praticamente con gli sci ai piedi direttamente dalle piste ❤️. Il nostro alloggio (53) era un 8 posti letto (per 6 comodo, per 8 strettino), davvero carino e dotato dei comfort sufficienti (TV, forno micro, stoviglie varie, bollitore, phon, stendino, giochi di società, lenzuola ed asciugamani). Ogni appartamento ha diritto ad 1 posto macchina al coperto e 1 cantina che diventa una skiroom comodissima per lasciare sci e scarponi. Fuori è comunque possibile parcheggiare altre auto comodamente. Al piano terra c'è la reception con accanto bar e ristorante per chi ne vuole usufruire e non cucinare in alloggio. Al seminterrato poi una piccola zona relax con piscina riscaldata e una sauna: toccasana dopo una giornata di sci. Uniche due cose "negative": - la notte è nevicato e nel parcheggio non è stata levata la neve che si è trasformata rapidamente in ghiaccio, creando disagio per uscire con le macchine. Ci si è dovuti arrangiare ognuno per sé. Forse un minimo si pptrebbe fare da parte del residence essendo comunque il parcheggio riservato ai fruitori della struttura assimilabile ad un hotel. - il passaggio dall'ascensore alla zona benessere è attraverso l'ingresso principale (molto freddo) e passando per reception, bar, zona bigliardo etc.. passando in costume, al ritorno bagnati, non è proprio gradevole. Vero che prima della zona relax c'è un piccolo spogliatoio ma non consente di asciugarsi e rimettersi i vestiti asciutti.
