I'm quite surprised this hotel is rated so highly. It has the facilities in place to be a good hotel but from what I can see its so busy that it's just not getting cleaned or maintained enough to keep it in the correct condition. Yes we are in Pattaya but your hotel should be the place you can get clean and feel clean. I never felt I could get clean at this hotel. The room felt like one lightly cleaned layer away from the sweat and grime of other customers before me. Positives Staff are friendly and welcoming Rooms look like the photos. Beds are comfortable. Furnishings are strong and of high quality Reception will hold ID of guests and call the room to make sure everything is okay before they leave. Bad Really does not feel clean at all. The floors are sticky. No slippers provided. I used a pair of white socks that were black after 2 days. The towels are low quality. Not thick. One shower and they are done. One set of towels per day. When I asked for extra I was told no. No offer to pay for extra towels. One roll of toilet paper!! This is ridiculous. When I needed more I went to the front desk and asked for another roll. Send housekeeping. Didn't come. Called housekeeping, said call reception. Came 30 mins later. This just shouldn't happen when someone needs to use the bathroom. I've never ever been to a 1 roll toilet paper hotel and if this hotel is 3 or 4 stars it should not be like this. Bedsheets with many unsightly marks on them, and although this was changed when I pointed it out, the sheets I came back to later were also marked. A charge sheet showing prices that need to be paid for items if damaged are broken. Feels like a hostel. One room had such bad water pressure I think it cannot be called a shower. One room had a broken bum gun trigger, had to switch manually on and off with the tap. One room had a safe too small for a macbook air (other 2 rooms were big enough) so couldn't put the laptop away. A lot of the hotel is showing signs of heavy wear and tear. chunks of plaster out of walls, dirty white walls, mold on the wall Lobby always busy so little chance of guests coming and going without too much attention, although this may not bother some people. Keycard room slot had flashing light which flashed in the room during sleeping time. Fixed keycards with the number glued on them, so if you lose your keycard when you're out you'd need to get home fast to cancel it, if they can. Disappointed. I wanted to like this hotel a lot but some of the policies are ridiculous and the maintenance/cleanliness is just not thorough enough for this star level.
