Good things - Good room design and accesories after renovation - The beach is just there. - Good Japanese restaurant "Hagi". Need to improve - Staff's service mind is under the standard. You will rarely see a smile from the staffs such as Check in counter, Oasis restauraunt and even at Kid's room. - For breakfast, the quantity is good, but the quality and taste are not delicious. Especially, the fruits and bad. - No welcome drink and no complimentary snack or fruit at the room on the first day.

The pool is really nice.And the jacuzzi on the balcony gives us the comfort and privacy to enjoy it.

The room is recently renovated so it looks nice on the surface, but there’s a serious blockage problem at the shower place, causing the water spilt over not just the bathroom, but the WHOLE ROOM. When we called the hotel to fix the problem, they just sent a plumber to try to fix the blockage, but to no avail. And when we requested to have our room mopped, no one came to help us and we had to stay in the room with the floor all wet.

We were especially excited about the hotel's water park, and it did not disappoint! The property itself is beautifully designed, blending luxury with the natural surroundings. We were impressed by the expansive layout and stunning views of the ocean, and the lobby provided a warm welcome with its grand interiors. However, the highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the water park. The park is extensive, with a variety of slides, lazy rivers, and pools that cater to all ages and levels of thrill-seeking. The lazy river was perfect for a relaxing float, while the slides provided an adrenaline rush for those looking for excitement. The water park is incredibly well-maintained, and it was clear that the hotel prioritizes cleanliness and safety. That said, while the slides are fun, I would advise caution, especially for taller individuals. The pool floors aren’t very deep, and we noticed that on some of the larger slides, there’s a potential risk of injury for taller people. The shallow water combined with the fast speed of some slides could lead to unexpected bumps or discomfort, particularly if you land incorrectly. It would be ideal for the hotel to address this concern and ensure that guests are more aware of the potential risks. Aside from the water park, our room was spacious and comfortable, providing all the amenities we needed for a short stay. The staff were polite and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. In conclusion, Centara Grand Mirage Pattaya is a great place for a fun-filled getaway, particularly if you’re looking to enjoy water-based activities. The water park is undoubtedly a major attraction, but guests should be mindful of the slide risks. Overall, we had an unforgettable time, and I’d definitely recommend the hotel for those seeking adventure and relaxation, especially families with children.

Location & Beach The hotel’s location is unbeatable, offering convenient access to everything we needed while still feeling secluded. The private beach was a standout feature—clean, quiet, and perfect for both relaxation and play. It was such a treat to have this serene spot just steps away from the hotel. Amenities The large swimming pool was a highlight, especially with its adventurous theme. It was well-maintained and provided endless entertainment for our kids. Whether it was the fun water features or the ample lounging space for adults, there was something for everyone. Rooms Our room was newly renovated, and it showed. Everything was spotless, modern, and designed for comfort. The tidy and fresh ambiance made us feel right at home. Family-Friendly Atmosphere This hotel is a paradise for families. There were plenty of kids around, making it easy for our children to make new friends. The family-friendly vibe was evident everywhere, from the kid-oriented activities to the staff’s attentiveness. The best facilities of any hotel where I stay with my children. The ocean, pool, and kids club are all number one. Adults can also relax and enjoy the resort atmosphere and stay at least once a month.

Another good family friendly resort in Pattaya! We enjoy the hotel as so kids friendly, many activities to join and nice beach with nice sand…..

I stayed here twice a year before COVID and have now returned after the renovation. We stayed in a twin room, which was nice and satisfactory. However, the service at this hotel is drastically different from what it was before and has unfortunately become quite poor. Upon checking in, I was instructed to download their app to request ongoing services. After checking in, I purchased credits (referred to as Free Money / Bath Bonanza) through the app, but I still had to go down to the check-in counter to complete the payment before placing an order for in-room dining, which felt ridiculous. Why didn’t they reintroduce the credit program at the check-in counter like before? Regarding the spa, the app listed some discounted packages. When I called the spa to confirm whether I could book a Thai massage for THB 1400 without using my credits (the original price would be charged if I applied credits), they assured me that I could. When I asked if I should book through the app next, they told me they could make the booking over the phone right then. However, after my treatment, my husband was charged THB 1800 instead of THB 1400 and was informed that the discounted rate was only available through the app. Additionally, many staff members seem to have limited English proficiency, which complicated communication. It was not like this before! I booked a spa appointment for the next day at 10 AM and was told to arrive early. I arrived 20 minutes before my appointment but couldn't find any staff there, and the reception didn’t open until 10 AM! After the spa, I was led to the outdoor resting area, but there was construction on a wooden bridge nearby, with hammering sounds and a burning smell! We were also disappointed with the breakfast options. There were no noodles in hot soup or traditional Thai dishes, which felt quite lackluster. The in-room dining also disappointed us. The Pad Thai I ordered was terribly salty! After the meal, the staff came to collect the dishes but left the table messy without wiping it down. On Christmas Eve, we had dinner at The Coast. It was advertised as a Christmas dinner with a live band, but it turned out to be a guitar and violin duo playing a few Chinese songs. I felt like it was a mid-autumn festival instead. My child and I arrived at the restaurant first, and I asked the staff to hold our dishes as we wanted to wait for my husband. They agreed but then served my child and me the salad starter immediately! Once my husband arrived, we had to chase them three times to serve him the starter. Additionally, I had to ask twice for a drink menu! To top it off, we were charged THB 1900 each for a main course that included only one slice of beef Wellington! We spent a total of THB 5900 for the three of us and ended up with a watery mango milkshake! Overall, it seems that the renovation did not extend to service quality, and the changes haveu significantly detracted from my experience.

It was a great place to stay.  But a little too expensive
