Reviews of Jomtien Boathouse

Always a great stay here. This is the second time we've stayed at the Boat House and we will definitely be back. Had the sea view room and its great to sit and relax on the balcony. Rooms are cleaned daily and you get free water and shampoo/shower gel. Workers see very friendly. There's a nice restaurant downstairs but didn't have time to eat there this time as we didn't have breakfast included. A good all in one place to relax, eat, drink, sleep and have a lovely holiday in Jomtien.

This was a lovely place. The staff were warm and welcoming. The rooms are a decent size and the beds are comfortable. We had a great view of the beach and a balcony we could sit on to watch the sun go down. We were given a kettle for the room when requested. The rooms were cleaned daily and were spotless. The only gripe was the lighting in the bathroom was so dull and the shower was not hot but apart from that, we had a pleasant stay and would go back again.

This hotel seems to be old. Furniture is old… but the location is great.

Never back for this hotel bad service

First time in Thailand for us (UK & China couple). The hotel has such a great location, right on the beach! We had a balcony facing the beach on the 4th floor which had a great view both daytime and evening. Even tho you are on the beach road, it’s still quiet at night to sleep. The room was big and clean, had a safe and a fridge with cold bottled water (replaced daily). The air conditioner was also very efficient too! The staff are super friendly and reception is available at all times of day and night to ensure you are well looked after and secure! The restaurant downstairs is nice, and it has an Elvis show at the weekends. There is a 500 baht deposit, returned at the end of your stay. We had a breakfast included in the price of the room - it was very nice but the options seemed to differ depending on who served you, which was quite amusing. The shower was only cold water - we did say a few times to the guy on evening reception. He said he’d have someone look at it, but it never got hot so maybe it’s meant to be like that. Not to worry, it’s a hot country so a cold shower is quite refreshing! Overall the hotel is in a great place and is a stone throw away from the main bars/restaurants and the night market. You are both in the action and have the comfort and quietness to relax and rest. We had a great time, our first ever trip to Thailand! This hotel is definitely a very good choice if you wish to holiday in Jomtien!

Wonderful hotel. I have been staying there for several years, great location, across the road from the sea, 300m to the market, 50m to the store, downstairs a good restaurant with an extensive menu of both Thai and European cuisine. By the way, there are Elvis concerts every weekend, very popular. The rooms have everything you need. They are beautifully decorated in a marine theme. The staff is always ready to help, polite, with a good sense of humor. Perhaps the only thing I missed was a pool, but then the hotel would cost different money. I will definitely go back there again.

Good hotel. Always cleaned, left water even if the previous one was not finished. I recommend. The only minus is the shower. The shower head is screwed into the wall, it does not pour well. It is problematic to adjust the water to your needs.

The boss gave me a 200 yuan breakfast voucher, which was great.

The accommodation is very good. Walk less than 20 steps to reach the sea. Very close to the sea The room is clean. Roy will go to stay again.
