Metro Apartments

Just got back from spending two weeks at the Metro. I was originally only going to stay five nights, but ended up extending my stay at the Metro because everything was so nice. The location is perfect (assuming this is what your looking for) right in the middle of LK Metro. The rooms are located above the Metro Bar. The bar is an excellent sports bar with plenty of televisions showing whatever sporting events happen to be happening. I stayed in two different rooms due to my extension. The first was one in back away from the street. The second was facing the street. Both rooms were equipped with microwave, refigerator, kettle, etc. The beds were both comfortable. Both had an outdoor terrace with chairs. Fresh towels and drinking water were provided daily. Obviously, the back room was more quiet during the evening hours. LK can obviously get noisy, but with the bars now closing early at 2AM, my guess is if you're staying in this area, you might not be getting in much earlier than that anyway. The staff was outstanding. From the room standpoint, any request I made was handled promptly and satisfactorily. From the bar standpoint, again great. All the staff was friendly and good at their jobs. If you are looking to stay in the LK or Buakhao area, you should definitely give this place a spin.
