Just home after a week’s stay at Cupido Boutique. Check in was great, very friendly staff. The reception & lobby/bar area is modern, cool & clean. The hotel is only 3 floors & there is only one small lift only really big enough for two but it is quick. The room was clean & comfortable & the air con was quiet & efficient. Coffee maker only had complimentary pods on arrival & weren’t replenished daily, so take your own if you want a coffee in your room! Breakfast was good, usual choice of cereals, fruit, cold meats, cheeses, fresh tomato, cucumber, etc., scrambled/boiled/friend eggs, bacon, mushrooms, etc., freshly cooked omelettes, variety of fresh bread, baguettes, croissants, doughnuts, cake… The swimming pool is a perfect temperature & sunbeds always available in shade or sun. The rooftop terrace is lovely, lots of spaces to relax & enjoy the sea views & cool down in the two jacuzzis. The hotel is in a great location, literally just a few metres over the road & down onto Playa Palmira & a few minutes walk along to Torà beach where you can get boat trips along the coast to Santa Ponsa, Port d’Andrax, etc. Huge variety of bars & restaurants everywhere in Peguera, quite German influenced, no British or Irish pubs which made a change for us from England!

Managers scam couples by putting them in single rooms. The room is very very small. The toilet is in the same room as the bed with nothing covering it as well as it directly facing the bed which is ridiculous that there is no privacy on the toilet as can be seen by the almost laughable picture. The bed is a 3/4 bed in the corner of the bedroom room which is unacceptable for two people. The shower leaks a lot of water underneath the glass meaning your room is practically underwater after a quick shower. We arrived at midnight the first night and complained in the morning which resulted in another room being available the morning after complaining. The new room was much more up to standard with the bare minimum necessities such as an actual bathroom but generally quite nice, however the 2 nights in the first room somewhat ruined the experience. They claim the room is an “economy double room” but in reality this is a single room that they put couples and charge over €1200 for the week for. The food is hit and miss but generally okay, we ate out some nights as it occasionally wasn’t great. The rooftop facilities are very nice with the sea views and hot tubs. The hotel is clean and the staff are all very lovely who work there. Bar area is also nice.

Had a 5 night mini break here on 10th June. Great hotel in great location. All the public areas were exceptionally clean and seating areas in bar were very comfortable, bright and airy. We had room on 2nd floor overlooking pool area. Room was lovely and very comfortable beds. The only slight issue was when showering the water does leak out into the main room but just make sure the foot mat is there. Could do with a mirror in the main room rather than just the bathroom. There was a really good selection at breakfast. Always plenty of room around pool and the beds and jacuzzi on rooftop was beautiful, very peaceful and relaxing. Thoroughly enjoyed Paguera and will definitely look to return next year.

The staff is very friendly. I booked a single room which was pretty small (as expected). I did not appreciate that the toilet and shower was basically in the same room. The gliding door covering the toilet is also used for the shower. Since it’s not sealed, my room was underwater all the time after taking a shower. The hotel itself and the rooms were well maintained and clean. The location is convenient close to public transportation and the beach with ample of shops and restaurants nearby. WiFi was pretty fast. The food however leaves a lot to be desired for. The quality is pretty low (mostly convenience food). They have some sort of a life cooking station. One night they did burgers and I was shocked and disgusted to see that the chef is touching the raw burger patty’s and veggies with his bare hands making me concerned about the food safety standards. You’re better off going to one of the restaurants nearby. Bottom line, good enough for 2 nights, but would not like to spend a full vacation there.

Fabulous, friendly stay with everything you need for a short break. The rooms are all different ..some have balconies some not. Our room was small but had everything we needed including a fridge and coffee machine , Although the balcony overlooked the street ... we didn't mind the street noise ...others might prefer not to overlook street. Staff are the key in this hotel ... friendly , helpful and efficient ...they all worked hard . Close to both main High Street, beach , and bus stop for Palma ..it suited us well. A small pool and a rooftop terrace are a bonus. Breakfast was super ( great value for money) ; a selection of hot and cold items, cereals yogurts and fruit .... plentiful. If you are looking for luxury, stunning views and gardens then maybe this is not the place for you ... but for us it was excellent and we would return another time. It provided excellent value and felt safe and friendly. Carlotta and her team did us proud. Thank you

The hotel was beautifully and very clean and the staff were fabulous. We had 2 medical emergencies while staying there and the staff were very supportive. They had an excellent first aider on hand who was very professional. They co ordinated emergency services and a local doctor . At a very difficult time they were kind, helpful and efficient.

Hit and miss I will find this review quite difficult to write as the Cupido has many good points, but, unfortunately for us, I think the negative aspects just about outweighed the positives. The main asset the hotel has is its staff who are hardworking and happy in their roles and constantly engage in a cheerful manner with guests throughout the day... they really are fantastic and a credit to the company. There are little touches that are very pleasing such as for the first welcome drink they don’t just offer you a watered down orange juice or 1/2 inch glass of wine but more or less anything you want from the bar (obviously within reason) such as tea, coffee, glass of wine or full pint of beer... good start! When by the pool or roof terrace the lovely staff will come round and offer you free slices of cold water melon to cool you off a bit... all thoughtful gestures. The rooms appear to be very hit or miss, we started with a definite 'miss' initially with a tiny dark room (no balcony) tucked in the corner of the building with a very small single window looking out onto the blocked out side of someone’s balcony about 3ft. away (see photos) - the bigger window to the right wasn’t ours. Admittedly we booked a room without balcony as we had no choice when booking with Jet2, however, Jet2 don’t appear to charge extra for a balcony room anyway - it was just that they had none left - so this shouldn’t really have affected what room we were allocated. But this is where the lovely staff come into play again, between the manageress Carlota and the lovely receptionist Paula, after 2 nights they managed to swop our room to one that still had no balcony but was bigger, brighter, floor to ceiling window with superb sea view... what a difference! We were 2 weeks half board so you would have thought they’d have put someone that was only staying a few days on B&B in the first room to save us the embarrassment of having to ask to move. We would have been really miserable in that dark room for the whole fortnight. We were half board and are by no means fussy eaters but we thought the evening meal choice very limited even for a small hotel. There was literally one meat, one fish, one pasta and one grill station choice - none of which were very appealing. There isn’t even the choice of something like pizza which is usually on every hotels menu. These were accompanied by a choice of one vegetable and one style of potato. Even my partner who will hoover up anything didn’t enjoy any of the evening meals. But to counteract that the breakfast was okay and the morning machine coffee was the best I’ve had in a long time. As I say hit and miss. The communal areas of the hotel are lovely and everywhere is spotless but, as others have stated, it is in a rather noisy area (even in low season) with street bar music finishing after 2am., people shouting in the street in the early hours and the glass and bin wagons making an awful racket around 6am. which isn’t very condu

This hotel does NOT deserve the negative reviews! From the minute we arrived we felt so welcome by the lovely staff and everyone was so attentive to our needs. We were celebrating 2 birthdays whilst there and a bottle of prosecco was kindly delivered to our room, which was such a kind gesture. The rooms were cleaned everyday and the full hotel was spotless. The rooftop terrace was surreal, with fresh fruit being brought up. Nothing was too much to ask for and the staff always tried their best to meet our needs. The hotel is exactly as the photos look- the ONLY downside is the rooms are slightly small but they were enough for us. We can’t wait to return again next year!

Everything about this hotel is great, great breakfast, friendly staff, great location; just 10 meters from boulevard and 25 meters from beach. Great swimming pool where they treat you with fresh melon or pineapple. Roofterras with great view and whirlpools and sauna. Bar with good cocktails… OK rooms are small but neat and clean and great terras. In the end you only sleep there :-) For sure an hotel to return. Also Peguera is a relaxed place focused on German visitors. Enough restaurants and shops so you won’t get bored.

To say I'm underwhelmed is an understatement. Upon arrival the lady on reception was lovely, gave me a welcome drink and explained everything to me. When I got to the room it was much smaller than I expected, it's a ground floor room where it appears guests at a neighbouring hotel look straight in to the room. The bed was absolutely covered in long back curly hairs, it appears to be on the top layer blankets and can only assume they haven't been cleaned as the sheets underneath appear better. Not a great first impression. I paid for half board, expecting at least to be able to get basic things like salad, chips, pasta, all staples most vegans look for when travelling. The food choice is very limited, nothing is clearly labelled for allergens or ingredients just the name of the dish. I'd read on another review that staff had been really helpful with providing vegan options, that was not the case for me. Two members of staff pretty much told me tough and offered me all the dishes on the buffet that had dairy in. I asked what can I do as I've paid for meals and he just said "sorry". I'm extremely disappointed by the whole experience and I've been in the hotel 6 hours. I wouldn't have paid the extra for half board to eat a plate of cabbage and carrot.

On one side the hotel looks refurbished recently and the decoration is clear and relaxing in light blue/green colors. The best part was the 3rd floor which has a terrace with many sunbeds, two jacuzzis, a sauna and great views of the sea. The pool area on the ground-floor is also pretty big and the waiter was very kindful. We liked a lot the wall-long sofa at the bar, perfect for chilling with a gin-tonic. On the other side we came upon many deficiencies. The room (the double one) was way too small, the bathroom door would only open 45º because it hits the toilet and it has the lavatory in front leaving just a small gap to enter. The aircon was another thing, we lowered the thermostat to the minimum and put the fan at max but despite that it was too hot to sleep. In any ways the worst thing of the room, sleeping wise, was that it was located next to a pub's terrace and we could hear all the conversations, people shouting, singing, hitting the tables, etc. We called reception for it and they told us they will notice the pub's staff but everything remained the same until the pub closed. That is unacceptable for what we paid for a room. The room must had a proper soundproofing. A few more remarkable things are that one of the jacuzzis of the 3rd floor was broken and the other one was almost all the time full. Also that you have to pay by cash the 10€ towel deposit. And that you cannot charge to the room your orders on the bar, you have to pay them right there (but they accept cards).

Perfect service from reception team. Great service from Argentinian waitress in the bar. Comfortable room and bed. Well maintained pool & pool area. Good overall hotel cleanliness (room, restaurant, public toilets, reception, etc). Short walking distance to shops, free carparks and beach. Nice rooftop area with jacuzzis. Small fitness room. The negatives: Food offer it's very basic for the price paid, drinks not included in half board.

Very inviting, clean hotel with friendly staff near the beach, also in a great location for visiting restaurants and discos. The three of us booked the suite. The room was big enough, as was the bathroom. The highlight: you have the roof terrace with the sunbeds and the two whirlpools to yourself from 10 p.m. - cool. In the morning it would be nice if hotel guests didn't come up before regular opening hours or trample on the separate "balcony" because they don't know that it belongs to a room. ;-) The only downside: when it rains you get wet in the main building and have no place to hang up your bathing clothes... We had booked breakfast. I think it's plentiful - egg dishes, vegetables, meat, cheese, bread, muesli, yoghurt and fresh and pickled fruit. Coffee and hot chocolate are available from the vending machine. The pool is smaller than it looks in the hotel photo, but you don't really need it, as the beach with the fine sand is so close. I would book it again: it has charm!
