Oberoy - Adults Only

The hotel is small and clean. Staff are wonderful and very helpful. They can't do enough for you. Our welcome was lovely. The food is very limited, and caters mainly for german guests (which is fine, but should be highlighted). Some of the guests were rude and unpleasant (not the hotel's fault), but resulted in us spending more time on the beach / away from the hotel than we had planned to. We were in the room near reception, which meant we were woken very early in the morning by staff, even though we kept closing the door to the reception, it was left open again, regularly, so we could hear plates clattering / breakfast prepared at 6 am, and people coming and going till midnight in the evening. The hotel did offer to move us, to be fair to them. As noted, the staff were lovely, but that wouldnt be enough for me to return. Pool area pleasant, but small. Snacks very limited.

A small but perfectly formed hotel. Staff very polite and helpful. Food varied and hot and delicious. No evening entertainment when we were there. Room spotless. We had asked for a PMR room but this was on the ground floor with no view and was quite dark. We were moved to the top floor (lift available) to a corner room with a lovely L shaped balcony overlooking the pool (sea in the distance) and the road. Within walking distance of the town with lots of benches to sit on if get tired.

Beautiful clean room overlooking the pool. Pool area lovely and clean. Small hotel adults only very relaxing. Restaurant food a little boring and we both did get an upset stomach. We ate out a couple of times can recommend the Thai Restaurant on the main road. Food tasty and reasonable price. Bar was good and all staff were very polite and attentive. We went for a relaxing time and it was just that. Pegera is a beautiful resort lovely beach good bus route to other towns and the airport. During our visit the Majorca triathlon was on which was great and the devil firework display plus a rock band so all in all was a very special holiday.

Just got back from Hotel Oberoy. We had booked specifically for a quiet, relaxing holiday and that's exactly what was delivered. As an adults only hotel it was peaceful. There was always plenty of sunbed availability and the pool was refreshing, clean and always attended by the lifeguard. The staff were all friendly and attentive. The drinks had a good mix of local and branded products. The restaurant served a mix of dishes, admittedly it is a small hotel and so the range isn't as large as some of the larger hotels, but there was always variations of pasta, salad, meat dishes, fish dishes and generally something for most tastes. The bedrooms are basic but clean, personally we didn't find the mattresses overly comfortable but sometimes that's just personal preference. We didn't see any entertainment at the hotel (which was fine for us but something to bare in mind if you're looking for something more lively). The main beaches are a few minutes away but there's also a few rocky coves a bit further for those that like to snorkel. Overall had a pleasant, relaxed stay and would happily return.

An hotel for rest holidays. Walking distance to the beach. Good pool. People did not reserve the sunbeds. The clients are basically German speaking old people with a mix of a little less old ones. Special attention and kindness all staff. The waiters at the restaurant should have more training as sometimes it seems they are not behaving as workers in a 4 star hotel. Our mattresses sank a bit...as most of the clients also are close or over 100kilos, not our case!!!! You were at AI system and food at the restaurant were good quality but poor in terms of choices, as it is a small hotel.

The food in this hotel was the worst I have ever experienced. Quality was poor and limited, despite all inclusive we ate out most evenings it was so bad. The snacks were left over breakfast items .. croissants without filling and the odd sponge cake. I honestly can’t find the words to explain how poor it was and and am surprised at the reviews stating it was okay. The whole Larry felt the same. The rooms are okay, on the small side and very dated. Housekeeping was fine and the staff were nice friendly. There was supposed to be entertainment and I honestly never saw or heard any entertainment at all. It really is quite an unpleasant experience. The bed was Comfortable.

Very clean, ideally situated for the beach and shops...immaculate room, cleaned everyday....food started off superbly but deteriorated last 2 days of holiday, noticed by other guests too...caters mainly for Germans food wise so if your English good luck....staff very polite except one guy with a moustache behind the bat who really was either clueless or just stupid..vey abrupt to no manners.....one thing that should change for all inclusive is why after paying initial deposit of 15 euros per beach towel you then have to pay an additional 2 euros to change it daily, all inclusive should mean what it says???

Hopefully, this is a detailed and honest review. The hotel is not too far from Palma Airport and the shared transfer bus took around 45 minutes. We arrived around midnight and received a very lovely welcome from Leo on Reception. We were all-inclusive so received our bracelets and went to the room. THE ROOM We were on the 3rd floor with a balcony facing the pool. The room was nice and clean, albeit slightly small (just a bedroom and a bathroom). The furnishings were nice, everything was clean and tidy and there was free liquid soap, shower-gel. The TV had various channels (German, Spanish and some English-speaking) plus some radio channels. Wifi was excellent in the room and all around the hotel/pool. The room was cleaned well daily and beds made. Towels need to be left on the bathroom floor to be changed. The air conditioning was very good. The only real negatives were that there was no kettle and that the safe needed to be paid for (3 Euros per night). THE FOOD The food was mostly very good. There's something for everyone, including lots of fruit, salads, soup, fish and other healthy options as well as plenty of naughtier options. There were cooked breakfast options (including scrambled, fried and boiled eggs, bacon, sausages and beans. There's also cereals, croissants, cold meats, cheese, fruit etc. For both lunch and evening meal there were lots of salad options (including potato and egg salads), olives, cheeses, soup and bread/rolls, several meat and fish/seafood options and fries/potatoes and veg dishes. There were always lots of yummy desserts - cakes, cheesecake, ice creams, melon, fruits etc. One of the few negative aspect of the whole hotel was that there were often not enough main vegetarian options. There was always pasta and tomato sauce, soup and salads and there were some veggie main items (such as a spinach lasagne and battered vegetables), but it would be great to have more specifically vegetarian main items as it was a little boring for my partner (who is vegetarian) having the same options and, sometimes, no main veggie item. Despite this slight area for improvement, the food was generally excellent. Another somewhat negative aspect was that the all-inclusive snacks were basically 'left-overs' from the mealtimes (or, at least, plated up elements of the main meals, covered in cling film and left to go cold). Some actual bespoke and freshly-made snacks would be much better! We don't drink much, but there were loads of drinks available from the bar, including soft drinks, alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails, beer, sangria, wine, spirits and tea/coffee. THE FACILITIES The pool area is lovely. It's a little small if the hotel is busy, but we had no problem getting sunbeds and the pool was fairly warm. It's an adults-only hotel so there were no loud kids splashing around, meaning a very relaxing, chilled time.
