Hotel Camp Karagaq

I enjoyed staying at this hotel for two nights. I was in the main block above reception. It was nice and quiet. The room wasn’t the biggest but it was fine for a couple of days. The breakfast area was nice and the breakfast choice was good. Staff at the breakfast area and bar were all friendly. The food was good. Location was good enough - about 10 minutes walk into the centre of Peja.

Me and my friend had a very nice stay in Kosovo. People are really friendly and very helpful. The place is amazing and the weather was perfect. Their food is also very yummy and fresh. Prices are affordable. We stayed at camp caragaq hotel which was great in all its details every one there was very kind manger receptionist and all. Hope to make it again soon. The hotel is quite nice and clean. Not far from the city centre (10-15 minutes walk) The room was very small for two, we had to play "tetris" and "puzzle". There was no place for baggages. Breakfast was quite OK (no buffet), but coffee machine was broken. Very hard to connect to the Wifi.

It is a big hotel. As we were there in the Covid-19 era, there were very few guests. There was also a curfew at 10:30PM, and no parties allowed. This helps, as it was very quiet in the hotel. I can imagine that it can be loud as they have also a party location (for weddings f.e.). Rooms are nice and clean, not too big and not fancy, but it is very reasonably priced. Don't expect Wifi in the room. The hotel is situated in a park and has a great outside terrace for dinner and breakfast, with a small playground for children, expect to meet quite a few locals here. Dinner is good, as was breakfast, service is excellent, they made us feel really welcome. Try the local wines, these are superb. Not really any downsides. It s a great location when arriving from Monte***** and a daytrip to Pristina is no problem, better to stay here at the foot of the mountains in Pec than in the plains of Kosovo.

The hotel is reasonably well situated for visiting the town and the rooma are clean and comfortable.However, unfortunately there was a wedding celebration taking place which meant there was a lot of noise until very late. The breakfast was poor and did not include a drink os any kind. Both fruit juice and coffe were charged as extras !!!!
