Reviews of Bel Air Resort & Spa Lombok

This hotel offers great value for money: it's right on the beachfront, and I had a comfortable, spacious room (with my own private patio, which added to the comfort and privacy). Everything was clean and well-stocked. The biggest downside, of course, was the mosquitoes, but I had read about them in other reviews. I bought body repellent as soon as I arrived on the island, and there's also a plug-in repellent in the room (though it wasn't super effective). Right next to the hotel, in the adjacent building, there's a mini-market. Also nearby is a stall selling masks/fins for snorkeling, and you can book snorkeling tours there too. Huge turtles swim near the hotel's shore – you don't even have to try hard to find them! Another inconvenience was the not-so-tasty breakfasts. They prepare one dish per person from the menu, but the cooking wasn't great – everything was just not very flavorful. Also, the waiters sometimes struggled to understand what I was asking for; my toast had to be redone several times. And on my last night, from Sunday to Monday, there was a disco somewhere on the island that didn't stop until 2 AM. The whole island was buzzing, and it was impossible to sleep! You could hear everything, and there was a terrible vibration. One more thing: in August, during the afternoon, there are strong winds and waves on this side of the island, which you don't find at all on the west coast. I don't know about other times, but in August, I would choose the west coast if you're planning a relaxing holiday on a sun lounger by the sea. With such strong winds, I got cold and sick after lying out for a while. :(

Room was adequate for the price. Should have hot water and a tv inside the room for that price. Personnel was dedicated, breakfast was als carte to choose.

Large room - large bathroom (outdoors) - nice pool (could be cleaner) - the resort is a bit dated - extensive breakfast included (you choose from a menu) - almost all staff friendly & motivated - direkt am Strand (wo man auch essen kann)

It is a nice resort at a great location not far from the jetty. It’s full with holiday vibes easy to get around. The room is big with a backend open ceiling shower area which is nice for tropical weather. Service from staff are friendly. Served good western breakfast.

Super cozy hotel direct to the sea. It is a bit outdated furniture lots of mosquito airco was.not running good. Is it the worth of money if it was bit cheaper the absolute but I think it was outpriced. The pictures on the booking site does nog match the reality you can stay cheaper the question will it be better. Overval it was nice. The staff is very kind.

I loved the outdoor shower. The breakfasts was really good. The pool was lovely. The bedrooms do need a little update.

Very pleasant holiday Location is very good, there are a lot of restaurants, the beach is in front of hotel. They rent electric scooter. Just 10min walking from the port

Pretty resort, good location on beach front. Helpful staff, great kitchen. Resort needs to spend more time on maintenance, Garden villa we were in, ac was not working, had to swap to a smaller room with 2 single beds, not ideal for a couple, plus ac in this room was barely working. After 2 days swapped us to a another garden villa room, with properly working ac. Only stayed for 4 days, of which 2 days were sub par

The Hotel is quite dated and needs a serious upgrade. The beachfront restaurant however looks newer and the breakfast was great. There are hardly any amenities in the room (no toothbrush, toothpaste etc). Doubt we would visit again unless the hotel has an upgrade. Not a fan of the outside shower feature either

All staffs and people are very friendly and helpful here. I would recommend for my friends to stay.
