Friendly and helpful staff. Room clean and with decent view. Only negative point was that the window did not open - something I don't like. Air Con was OK, but much prefer being able to have fresh air from outside.

Avoid Penrith dirty and smelly with rude staff air conditioning full of mold so bad we left when alternative room was as bad. Apparently Premier Inn do not feel that a refund is justified despite the fact we were so disgusted by the state of the place we left.

Very good stay. Staff polite and helpful. Easy to park free outside. In town centre so easy to walk anywhere. Sainsburys opposite and Wethersooons next door.

Have been using this hotel as a stopover for travelling to and from Scotland since Noah was a boy ...but never again. Hotel is showing its age and like many others is tired ...but that is no excuse for it being filthy and smelly. Our first room 120 was hot as an oven as a/c broken and dirty.Room smelt awful and dirty also. Second room 118 and last room available was much the same... Deep dirt in and on the lift symbolises the level of care taken here. However what is really worrying is the state of the only air supply into the building and rooms (photos attached).....dirty , un-sanitised ,moldy and poorly maintained...! Premier inn management and their guest relations are irresponsible , arrogant and rude. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE

I enjoyed my stay at the Premier Inn Penrith, the room was clean, comfortable and in a good state of repair unlike some of the Premier Inns I have stayed in recently. It’s conveniently situated next to a Sainsbury’s supermarket and several restaurants. The room heating and air conditioning worked well and was quiet, unlike the older Premier Inns with the rattling electric radiators on the wall.

A typical premier inn setup - room was clean and comfortable. The only small criticism is that the bath had a high side which may make it difficult for those with mobility issues to step into the shower. What made the visit special, however, was the breakfast. Delicious and plentiful food, and they seem to have solved the eternal problem of keeping food hot on the buffet. We would definitely return here in the future.

Lovely hotel, situated in Penrith, near to shops and cafes, excellent parking. Would recommend this hotel for halfway stop to Scotland.

Perfect location, set mid town, with a mixture of old and new. Wonderful historical sites along with lots of places to go out and supermarkets for supplies. 20 minute drive to the lakes. Wetherspoons just behind hotel. Accommodation very clean and staff amazingly welcoming, thank you to the gentleman who booked us in and gave a very good run down of local knowledge. & a special thank you to Stevie and Ashen for pleasant evening meals and super service! Best New Year ever! Will definitely visit again.

Unusually not the best stay we’ve had in a Premier Inn. Room was fine - but problems with the toilet & no hot water. The restaurant food was lovely - however for the breakfast sitting… not enough food served. No yoghurt and items of hot food not replenished with an hour and half to go before the end of the sitting.
