NEVER STAY HERE. Not only is this hotel dirty, the staff is rude, condescending and absolutely nasty. Checked in for a work trip and went up to the room where we found mold in the shower. When I turned on the sink to wash my face the water came out yellow. My coworker and I expressed our concerns to the front desk and asked for a new room or a refund. The woman working the counter, Leslie, answered her cell phone and told us to wait a minute before helping us so she could talk to her friend. She then refused to address our situation. She stuck her hand in my face numerous times, cut me off and essentially told me that we could just be without water so we should be pleased with what we have! Apparently there was a water main break that they neglected to tell us about at check in. Needless to say we promptly cancelled our reservation and will be staying at a different hotel. Never again will I give my money to ANY choice hotel specifically because of my terrible experience with how this situation was handled. I work in customer service and 100% understand that this issue was not her fault but the way she handled the situation put such a bad taste in my mouth that I recommend that you don’t waste your time and pay the extra few bucks to stay at different place with better customer service, clean rooms and water that you won’t contract lead poisoning from. We stayed in this hotel in March 2022 and it wasn't bad at all. We had no shower gel, and no maid service but they said that was because of Covid. Okay. We just stayed there again this past weekend, for 4 nights, and the place has gone downhill a lot in 6 months. No one mentioned there was no maid service now unless you're staying a week or more. You must get your towels from the front desk. Add to that, they were still out of shower gel and we had to once again get in in a cup from the front desk. The young blond woman working the desk in the day is helpful, at least she responds and smiles when you look her way or need help. But the women at night were engrossed in their phones, never even looking up. It looks sloppy and very unprofessional. The male housekeeper in my hallway (third floor) had his hip-hop music so loud, I could still hear it once I got in my room. Our room was also across from the electrical/mechanical room so the men would talk loudly outside our door. (Note the room number 350-AVOID). Trash sat outside rooms because, once again, there was no maid service for under a week, and most of it was there my entire 4-night stay. I also made note of a plastic fork in my hallway EVERY day I was there, even AFTER housekeeping had cleaned some of the rooms for guests who had checked out. There was also trash in the elevator daily. The carpeting in the halls was dirty, too. Our room was somewhat clean, but I could write my name in the dust on the TV stand, and the kitchen needed a major cleaning, as well as the refrigerator. We needed ice but there was no ice machine, so you had to make ice in your freezer. The pillows smelled of oily hair, which was a huge turn-off. And our room description said we had a ”recliner” but we had a sofa with a lounge side. Big difference. Of course the frosting on the cake was the fire alarm going off on Sunday morning because someone down our hall didn't know how long to pop popcorn. SMH This hotel is drastically, and I mean DRASTICALLY overpriced at $133-151 a night. I would say $59 TOPS would be the max, once I got a peek at the place. Anyway, I would strongly urge you to avoid this place and seek one of the hotels in Beachwood off Chagrin Blvd. That's where we'll be on our next visit.

Where should I start!!! I booked my room weeks ahead of my visit (came to Cleveland to take my mom to her outpatient procedure at Cleveland Clinic). The day before my arrival I received the notification from the app to check in early which I did like many other times before at other Marriott hotels. Once I arrived at the hotel I went back to the app to open up my digital key and it wasn't there so I had to go to the front desk and of course it was several families checking in with a kids soccer team! So there goes 30 plus minutes of waiting. Once it was finally my turn I informed the clerk that my digital key was available on the app that I had requested because I didn't want to have to deal with stopping at the front desk. She says their policy is that you have to stop at the front desk to check in regardless of requesting a digital key(that I never received until my day of check out). Everything that I did on the app served no purpose I had to show my ID and swipe my credit card. A real inconvience because I have never had to do that since they started mobile check in. Now once I got checked in and went to my room which I had requested a king suite with a balcony. The elevator was clean, the hallways were clean and the most of my room was clean until you got to the furniture. I have never seen furntiture so dirty and nasty in my life! I called the front desk to ask to be moved but was told that if they moved me I would be in a smaller room with no price change. So of course I stayed where I was because that room most likely was in the same condition as the one that was in. The bed linen was clean but I still sprayed it and everything else down with Lysol and I took thr additional sheets to cover the furniture to be able to sit on them. The area that the hotel is in is great, tons of restaurants, bars and shopping. Overall the stay was not horrible but the room needs some deep cleaning and all the furniture needs to be thrown out.
