"I few issues with the room…the safe was just the back part as the entire front part not on the wall, the toilet you had to flush 3 times before it would flush, the tub had no drain plug stopper, turned the tv on and it wouldn’t shut off and tried plugging my phone charger into the wall and it fell back out of the plug onto the floor. I just dealt with everything and didn’t say anything to the hotel."

"I am not one to normally write reviews, especially for hotel stays. I travel a lot on business and appreciate the Marriott family of hotels for the overall consistency while traveling. I chose this hotel for a 3 night family trip to Cedar Point because it is a new hotel, that opened only a couple of weeks ago. From the get-go, I was concerned. The floors in the lobby were disgusting, as was the elevator and the carpet to our room. The elevator had food in the corner that stayed for all 3 days during our stay. The elevators had disgusting handprints on the stainless steel walls that also remained throughout our stay. The breakfast area was under stocked and without a number of staples that are always available at any other hotel that offers breakfast. The hotel itself seemed poorly "finished" and had a lot of loose tiles, bricks and trim pieces both outside and in. We even saw some "used" condoms around the patio and firepit outside that stayed for 2 nights before we finally asked the front desk to remove them. I realize that the hotel cannot control unruly guests, but I do feel that it is the hotel's responsibility to cleanup after guests to make sure the next guests have the best stay possible. New hotel.... yes, growing pains.....understandable.... overall lack of cleanliness in a new property is inexcusable."
