Room never got down to the temperature we wanted and toilet wouldn’t flush. Dust over fridge, on baseboards and the tub had black mold or scum in the grout.

The hotel rooms were clearly not cleaned properly. The bathroom floors not mop in long time. Hair stuck to floor and shower not cleaned. The room smelled old and musty. Very disappointing. Would not recommend or stay here ever again. Will drive the hour to Tallahassee.

Would stay at the Hampton instead of here. Everything was fine until after we checked out and realized a duplicate billing to our credit card. We requested a credit because of their mistake. Disaster..After I made 5 phone calls to the hotel, Teri would not make a phone call to the manager this afternoon to determine the status of and straighten out our credit issue. They admitted their error. We have contacted American Express and they will refund our account. This frustration of not getting a refund in 2 weeks - and lack of followup - shows that this hotel doesn't care about customer service.

One night stopover in Perry. Standard Holiday Inn; clean, updated. Next to Tractor Supply. Several concerns: not able to connect to WiFi, poor breakfast selection, no fruit or napkins, not enough towels. Outstanding and friendly staff.

When we arrived and checked in or room was set at 63 degrees and I tried to raise the temp via wall thermostat to no avail and then tried the unit also no change. Called front desk and hey stated the wall controls don't work and advised the unit control which also didn't work. She came to room and shut the unit and stated to allow to reset. After waiting unit turned on and the control made no change. We left the blower on. The next morning went to shower and no soap or shampoo in shower, used soap from sink. When leaving shower noticed base was all brown as no being cleaned. No one at front desk and left.

Had business in town after the hurricane blew through. Despite alot of places being out of power and alot of damage in the area this place had power and everything I needed with regards to the store and behind the counter. Hotel was very clean and the staff were polite and friendly. I even forgot my hat there and they helped me get it back!

We chose this hotel for a relaxing 1-night stop during a long camping trip. Hotel appearance is good. Nice lobby, breakfast area, pool, etc. But it became frustrating when we had to change rooms twice. First room's door would not close and lock automatically as it should. You'd shut it -- try pulling it hard to engage and nothing. Well, we couldn't leave the room with all our stuff inside with this issue! I called front desk and was told "it will probably work if you lift up on the door while shutting" but she was happy to give us another room. Yeah, that kinda worked but I'm not strong enough to lift one of those dang doors. Obviously the door issue must happen on multiple rooms for her to know the trick to address it. Second room -- the toilet would not flush properly. The water would rush in but not drain right and bowl started filling up more and more. My hubby checked tank to try and do a simple fix but no. So, we request room 3. Nice lady at desk gave us a suite room for our trouble. Even that room was odd. Previous smaller rooms had a/c control on wall. The suite wall thermostat/control did not work and you used the controls on actual ac/heating unit under window. Definitely a humidity issue in the room too -- no matter how much you'd turn up the ac, the sheets and linens had damp feel to them (like when you're in a very humid / hot beach type motel). Many rooms must have issues because while we waited on room #3 in lobby, we overhead another new guest come back to speak to clerk about a problem in his room (he was okay with staying in it, if she could just send maintenance person). The breakfast was very nice and enjoyable, I will say. However, I doubt we'll stay at this hotel again.

After our hotel in Tallahassee sold our reserved room out from under us, we were in a pinch late on a Saturday night to find a room. We are a family of 6 and wanting to room together. As we intended to drive through Perry the next day anyway, I called this Holiday Inn express. I was able to speak to a kind lady who informed me that they did indeed have a 2 queen room with sleeper sofa available that evening. She took our reservation over the phone and I had an email confirmation almost immediately. Upon arrival just one hour later, we had a clean room that fit our family. Such a relief! Breakfast the next morning was super convenient and a hit with the kids. Wishing I had just booked this hotel in the first place!

Excellent travel stop motel, a bit expensive. Third floor where we (and many other afternoon check-ins) stayed was bright, clean, and cheerful. Large breakfast room with modest selection of hot & cold food. And trays to take breakfast up to guest rooms! Real easy to find on (quiet) main road.

The water wasn't hooked up, had to brush teeth in the shower. Remodeled room and wire cables had to be cut to use. Water to room was turned off due to flooding, which meant no shower. No excuses or apologies, just giggling at front desk. Never again at this place!!!!!!!! This trip was booked by my brother and his family.

Our flight was canceled so we drove 14 hours for a wedding. Upon checking in we noticed a sign at the front desk that the water would be off to the entire hotel from 11am - 4pm both Saturday and Sunday. After attempts to find other accommodations we reluctantly decided to proceed as all other local hotels were booked for the weekend. We ended up filling up the bathtub just so we could use the trash can to fill the toilet tank in order to flush it. Soon after the water was off, there was an overwhelming smell of raw sewage throughout the hotel and even outside the front doors to the lobby. The construction manager (water was off for some renovations) appeared not to be doing anything other than hanging out with the front desk staff and a toddler who was behind the front desk. If he wasn't doing that he was sitting by the pool or out front smoking. Front desk manager stated there was nothing they could do and would not be issuing any refunds or discounts. As for cleanliness, the room itself seemed ok other than some dingy caulk in the shower. But, the sofa was run down and looked as if someone had laid on it with greasy boots. It really should just be disposed of. The air conditioner would not change speeds and sounded like a jet engine taking off. There was not any hot water in our room on Sunday morning. On the plus side, every housekeeper I ran into was extremely friendly. We couldn't take it any more so we gave up a day with family and drove back home.
