The hotel staff are wonderful. Very accommodating, always friendly and helpful. The pool and hotel facilities were also very good and the pool area was very pleasant to use and never too busy. The location is great for the bus to gardaland, station and is only a pleasant 15 minute walk into town and to the nearest beach area. There are some lovely views as you walk in and out of the centre. It is on a fairly busy road though and can feel a little worrying if walking with younger children. Unfortunately the apartment wasn’t quite what we expected. We visited as a family of 3 and we were looking forward to leisurely breakfasts on the terrace before exploring Lake Garda. A few things that are worth knowing: - some of the terraces/balconies are very small and look out onto a busy main road. It’s unpleasant to sit out there due to noise and fumes, and also there isn’t really room for more than two of you. It’s not really worth having a terrace in these apartments. - the kitchenette isn’t really equipped for cooking much. We had only two glasses, a few pieces of cutlery and tin openers etc. but nothing for preparing a decent meal (not even chopping or bread knives). - a few tea bags and sugar were provided, no coffee pods for the machine. When we asked we were told they didn’t provide them for apartment guests and didn’t replenish teabags etc. too - the apartment is well suited to a couple wanting to explore. We found it a bit cramped for 3, and the sofa bed was uncomfortable for our daughter. - the apartments have a lovely entrance hall, but are in need of some ‘smartening up’ inside. It was fine for us, but I wouldn’t arrive expecting the new apartments shown in the images. - the apartments are quiet, apart from the traffic noise. We didn’t find we were disturbed much, but if other guests were noisy you would definitely hear them. We enjoyed staying in the area as it’s absolutely lovely, but would definitely seek other accommodation next time.
