”We're from Thailand, and this hotel is superb! The rooms are clean, warm, and cozy, with floor and bedroom heating—perfect for the cold weather. The toilet even has an auto bidet (very important for us Thais!). Though the hotel is on high ground and the stairs might make you a bit tired, the effort is totally worth it. The owner is incredibly kind, offering unlimited drinking water and fresh fruit. The rooftop has the best view—beautiful scenery where you can relax and enjoy the moment. PS: I hired a private taxi driver for our trip, and he was friendly and extremely helpful—giving us the best advice for: Cheap but delicious local restaurants Affordable tribal dress rentals Half-price tour tickets for young adults (we never knew about this before!). We had an amazing stay at Shangri-La Banxia Time Homestay, and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shangri-La, Yunnan. From the moment we booked, the host was extremely responsive, keeping in touch with us for three weeks before our trip. They provided useful tips, such as bringing heavy clothes due to the cold and snow, which helped us a lot in preparing for our visit. One of the best things about this homestay was the hospitality. The host picked us up and dropped us off at the train station for free of charge, making our arrival and departure hassle-free. They also went the extra mile by lending us winter jackets at no cost, which was a thoughtful gesture. Additionally, they arranged a driver for us to visit the places we wanted to explore, making our trip smooth and enjoyable. The homestay itself was fantastic—spacious, exactly as shown in the pictures, and equipped with complete amenities. It truly felt like a home away from home. The bed was very comfortable, and we appreciated the hot blankets and oxygen supply, which were essential due to Shangri-La’s high altitude. The homestay also had a modern design while being located in the heart of the ancient town, offering easy access to everything. Beyond the comfortable stay, the host’s kindness and guidance made our experience even better. They recommended great places to visit and local restaurants to try, ensuring we had a memorable trip. The Tesco Hotel is located in a convenient location, it is only 3 minutes away from the center of the ancient city. The main part of the B & B is a steel-mixed-earth structure to avoid the sound insulation of the traditional wood structure. Design philosophy is open, innovative, humane and functional, with emphasis on the functioning and spatial organization of the various areas and on the formal beauty of the structure itself. The design is simple and generous, and the space is clean and transparent. The room heating facilities are all water-heating. It is most suitable during the dry season of Shangri-La. There are rest, tea and recreational facilities in the public areas.

This is a terrific hotel I had ever stayed. I would give the hotel 10 (if the highest score is 5) ^_^ The location is the best. Only 200m to walk to Tapho temple& Dukezhong ancient town. Very convenience to find food and also Didi. The service is  the best! The owners are very friendly, kinds and full of service mind, provide good information no matter what we ask for ie suggest the good restaurants, provided day tour information and so on. The owners allowed us to check in early. In addition, she upgraded the room for us to the premium one where we could  see Tapho temple by the window. We stayed 3 nights(Jan,25) and not only the owner picked up us at the train station, she also offered us a ride to the train station when we left… very impressed! All amenities are perfect  ie..O2 generator,   humidifier machine, washing machine (inside our room) and so on. The heater was so warm as there is electricity blanquette, floor heater beside the normal heater one. We are very comfortable during stay here. I would definitely stay here again for next trip and will recommend friends for this super perfect hotel :)

[Five-star review of Titian Hotel] This stay was great! From the warm smile at the front desk to the warm decoration of the room, it felt like home. The room was perfectly clean, the bedding was white and soft, the bathroom facilities were spotless, and there was no dust even in the corners. The location was even better, just a stone's throw away from the ancient city, with delicious food and beautiful scenery. The waiter responded very quickly, took the initiative to help call a taxi, and recommended local specialty restaurants. The price-performance ratio is super high, and I will definitely choose this place next time I come on a business trip/tourism!
