GGuest UserLocated at the end of Nanmen Bay, on the upper left of Dongshan Fengdongshi Scenic Area, the room we stayed in has no noise mirrors and looks like it is in the scenic area. The super invincible sea view, we can take postcard-like photos on our own private balcony. In terms of geographical location, other B&Bs or hotels on Dongshan Island may really not be able to compare with his home. In terms of the luxury of the room, many B&Bs I have stayed in in China are really not on the same level as his home. The decoration in the room is simple but high-end, and many equipment and furniture are imported (so although the room fee has been collected, pre-authorization is still required). His shower room is one of the few hotels and B&Bs I have stayed in in China that will not leak. The projector also has a high-definition picture. There are many snacks in the room. Basically, you don’t want to go out when you stay in the room, because the beautiful sea view can make you lie on the rocking chair on the balcony for an afternoon. It’s really a bit like our vacation in Seychelles or Six Senses Yao Noi.
Because it is relatively hidden, it is a little far from the parking and commercial areas (many restaurants are in this area), and the owner of the B&B will drive a battery car to pick you up. The B&B is not far from the only remaining ancient street in Dongshan, and there are many snack shops and small restaurants on the ancient street. Go to the lower left after leaving the B&B, and you will see many piers where fishing boats are moored after passing the Fengdongshi ticket office. The more famous Fish Ball Grandma on the island is nearby. His Liufu fish balls, peanut sesame cakes and meat dumplings are delicious.
The B&B does not provide breakfast, but you can take it out, which is not inconvenient.
The main thing here is the high-end rooms and the unbeatable sea view. The most important thing is that dogs are also welcome. My two short legs also like it here very much.

GGuest UserThis homestay is new, nice, clean and comfortable. The service is like a hotel. This homestay is located inside the Yunshuiyao scenic area, and so every guest needs to pay an entrance fee. The homestay can help to arrange a taxi to pick up from 南靖railway station to the homestay with a reasonable price.
If you like beautiful scenery, peaceful and relaxing environment, this is the right place as it’s away from the crowded village centre. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the village centre, ie the water wheel, old banyan tree, and souvenir shops, through a scenic route along the stream and under the shade of old trees. Trekking the cobblestone path gives you a good workout.
There’s a few tulou (earth buildings) within the scenic area but only 2 are open for public to visit. The others are private. Hegui lou is less than a minute’s walk from the homestay, passing by paddy fields, vegetable gardens and lotus field. You can literally see it from the homestay.
The homestay serves delicious local food. I had dinner twice and enjoyed tasting different dishes. Breakfast is simple and includes local produce, giving you a taste of village life. Also, the homestay serves tea from its own farm. I enjoyed tasting different tea.
Lastly, the staff 小凉is very friendly and good service.

GGuest UserI originally planned a one-day trip to Taxia Village, but I stayed there for two days because of the boss's enthusiasm, sincerity, and the environment of the village. Friends who like quietness and leisure should not miss Taxia Village. The temperature is suitable, cool, very original and not very commercialized. The Firefly we stayed at this time is a store run by the couple with great care. We also let the boss arrange the food at Firefly. We told the boss how many people can eat and what the budget is, so we can go out and play with peace of mind. The meal in the picture only costs 200 yuan, tastes great and is very filling! ! What I like most is that there is a large platform to dry clothes, and you can lie on a chair and watch the stars in the sky at night! You can also see a lot of fireflies in June and July! A very satisfying stay! I will come again 🥰

GGuest User1949 truly feels like an idyllic retreat, far from the city's hustle and bustle, yet brimming with local charm. It's conveniently located very close to the Tianluokeng Tulou Cluster (Four Dishes and One Soup). The front desk and service staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive. We booked a family suite with a slide, which was an absolute hit with the kids! They played all evening, and there was constant laughter – it was truly delightful and excellent value for money. We had dinner at the hotel, and it was also fantastic – the chef truly puts thought into every dish. Breakfast by the stream, listening to the gentle babbling water and enjoying the crisp morning air, offered a truly unique and wonderful experience. Simply wonderful! 👍

GGuest UserDuring this journey, I seemed to have removed my identity as a tourist, and it was more like meeting with my friends and listening to their wonderful life stories. I thought that the trip was an ordinary trip, but it unexpectedly became one of the most precious memories of my life. The homestay is very retro, hidden in the tiles in the corner, the reefs on the cabinet, and the flowers in the corner all reflect the unique understanding and careful management of the aesthetics of life.
Special thanks to the owner of the homestay: Dong brother. The warm hospitality and meticulous care made us feel the warmth of family. Not only provided us with a comfortable accommodation environment, but also healed the fatigue of the journey with sincerity and goodwill. This friendship, I will always remember it in my heart. Although reluctant, the journey of life still needs to continue. I look forward to returning to this warm place again in the near future.

SShiahanga！A hundred faints! ! ! Living in an earth building is a very special experience (many earth buildings in scenic spots do not allow people to go upstairs, so you have to pay to go upstairs! You can live here directly). I came here before the National Day. I was very lucky that only two people stayed in the entire earth building. , Hahaha, very quiet and a great experience! The store did a great job in upgrading the room type. I would like to praise the lady at the front desk by name! The person was super nice and even gave us grapefruits and recommended the itinerary in great detail! Went to Tianluokeng to see the rice terraces which were very beautiful! A great experience

GGuest UserOur stay at this wonderful guesthouse right in the heart of the Tianluokeng Tulou Cluster was an absolute highlight of our trip. The owner was incredibly kind and an amazing cook; she prepared us a delicious homemade dinner and a fantastic breakfast that we still remember fondly. The location is perfect for fully experiencing the Tulous, allowing you to wander among them at ground level and also hike up to the viewing platform for both sunrise and sunset. This is ideal if you want to spend more quality time in the area without feeling rushed. The accommodation itself was very clean and comfortable, and we were satisfied with everything. A small note: it was a little tricky to find at first, but we managed to locate the entrance successfully by using helpful pictures from previous reviews. We would return in a heartbeat

CChenglong88We booked three rooms for five people for one night. The guesthouse's location is fantastic, right next to the 'Four Dishes and One Soup' Tulou. You can easily access the viewing platform nearby to see the night scenery, which is very convenient! The owner and his son were incredibly hospitable. The owner's son even drove his motorcycle to the parking lot to pick us up. He's also an excellent cook! In the morning, as we were leaving, the owner helped us carry our luggage to the car. Lliuguohui1977The staff were very welcoming and enthusiastic. The *tulou* (earthen building) we stayed in is reportedly over a hundred years old. We specifically chose it for its historical charm, so we already expected the rooms to be a bit old-fashioned and the soundproofing to be poor. On the bright side, the bedding was dry and comfortable. It's also quite close to Huaiyuan Lou.

GGuest UserDuring the three days and two nights I had free time, I originally only booked one night, but I immediately renewed my reservation after arriving at the B&B. When I opened the curtains, I could see the sea. When I walked out of the room, I saw the beach. On the last day, I also saw the sunrise as I wished. This feeling It's so beautiful and so comfortable.
