I stayed there for several days in a row. I only had one room card, which I accidentally left in the room. For this reason, the front desk lady remembered me and gave me two cards. There is a park and a traffic light outside the hotel, and it only takes a few minutes to walk to the downtown area. Peterborough is a nice city, small but complete, with a large cathedral and a sense of historical architecture.

Nice great f by Lina at reception when we first came in. Had evening meal, team were Lina behind the bar, Mark and Dalyal serving. It was nice that we were not rushed. Mark and Dalyal were very busy.

The room was clean and the staff, especially the lady helping at breakfast were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. But.. The parking advertised is very limited and expensive. It doesn't belong to the company so anyone can use it. If you are a woman travelling alone, be aware you may well not be able to park near where you are staying. The TV is hopeless - everything is free view ( to avoid paying the bbc licence fee? Shame if this is so) And the remote didn't work. We couldn't get it off shopping channel, and we couldn't switch it off - it took about 15 minutes, a trip on foot to reception late at night to sort it out.

Arrived about 7pm and our paperwork had not been left out but Lina in reception quickly sorted it out. Evening meal was very good and excellent value for money.
