Peterborough (Hampton)

It was a premier inn, clean, spacious, comfy bed. Location was good. And there was a pub/restaurant underneath (which I didn’t use). Easy parking and plenty near by! Price was fantastic too!

Receptionist was very kind and helpful, really pleased with their customer service. Great hotel and facilities- receptionist really understood our needs and helped us to the best of his ability- would Deffo recommend this hotel again 👌

Staff are super friendly and welcoming. The bed is one of the comfiest beds I’ve ever slept in. The hotel is also a great location, having plenty of places to go shopping, or eating food right on your door step, not to me took the fact it’s practically on the motorway.

Great hotel, staff very friendly and helpful and welcoming . Have stayed alot of the year and there is nothing I can fault. Easy to Find, ample parking. The restaurant next door has great selection of food. Always a pleasure to stay at this hotel.

We had a three night stay here at this premier inn there is lots of free car parking spaces available with lots of fast food outlets that you can walk to within minutes. The location is very good also we had several cheap trips using the bus service which has a stop very near to to the premier inn, we had breakfast and everything was piping hot and very tasty we soon settled in with lovely staff over a couple of cups of coffee and they was very knowledgeable about things to do in the area, we went into reception before going of to town and was greeted by lovely staff who put our car registration in so we was covered and then a gentleman see my walking was bad and asked if i would like a room with a walk in shower on the ground floor if he could do it. to which he did the room was clean and tidy the bed was lush and the shower and the seat made it so easy for me, what a lovely gesture that was, I cant thank the staff enough, always asking if everything was ok tea and coffee always topped up beds made with fresh pillows, sheets, bins emptied, hard working happy and pleasant staff, we had a evening meal and a pint in the brewers fayre and it was lovely. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, we will be coming back thats for sure give the staff a big pat on the back theyre brilliant

Stayed there for five nights, using it as a base for three live shows we did in the local area. Ghislaine and Jade on reception provided exceptional support to all six of us. Frontline staff of the highest quality. Give them a pay rise Premier Inn. They're the face of your brand. Five Stars. Andy Mac.

Air conditioning is a must for hot rooms! If you open the window on car park space it’s to noisy. I would have stayed more nights if the vast difference in prices depending on day had been better!!!!!

The atmosphere on arrival was unwelcoming. The service was poor, housekeeping was very poor, there was mould round my bath taps. Communication between departments led to an embarrassing experience from something that should have been simple and easy to deal with. If you have any accessible or special needs, don’t expect any help, as none is forthcoming. The friendliest staff work nights. If you stay on a Friday night, get very drunk, most of the other guests seem to, they then carry on partying in their rooms till the early hours. As the only one in reception is a young female I didn’t feel I could say anything as it might put her in danger, I know a staff member has been attacked there in the past. The restaurant is a joke. Service is slow, even when they aren’t busy, in fact if you’re an IDDM be careful when you take your insulin or you’ll have a hypo. I’m not sure where the chef learned to cook but he needs to go back, either to demand a refund or take the course again. There seems to be a decided lack of training, leading to a lack of care about anything across the board. Come on Whitbread, support your staff and help those at this very poor hotel/restaurant have some dignity. I have stayed in lots of hotels, many of them Premier Inns, but never have I felt the need to complain in the manner I did at this one.

I’ve been staying here for business regularly for over a year now. Outstanding staff, in particular Stefan. He’s a credit to the Premier Inn organisation. Professional, polite and always there to help customers. If you’re in the area, this is the only place to stay!
