Panareti Coral Bay Resort

I am never the type of person to leave a review, I don’t like it unless it is completely necessary and I wouldn’t want other people to go through the same, so I have to comment on this , Honestly chose here unless you get a car, wish we chose a better location, it probably says great beaches near the hotel , but beaches weren’t nearby (thank god we had a car) and the beaches weren’t great, and the walk to nearest town or restaurant let’s just say I felt so bad for the people walking (thank god for having a car lol) . Hotel was empty and quiet probably the time of year, when we showed up the main entrance was closed and blocked off, no instructions were to go we just had to look around and find an open door and desk, the receptionist was okay , and for our room it was okay however we booked a double room and we are a couple I was disappointed that it was just two single beds pushed together so our beds kept separating if we were in the middle of it …I don’t understand why most hotels do this it’s not good, expected more for a 4 star hotel , the shower was awful it just dripped down like a leaky tap and ran out of the shower down the wall you had to get right against the wall to shower or take the shower head off and wash yourself,also the hottest the shower goes isn’t even that hot, nevermind the dirty shower curtain it looked like it had blood or poo on it, that was honestly disgusting, the indoor “heated” pool downstairs wasn’t heated it was freezing cold so we never got into it ,the jacuzzi was nice and warm bubbles were nice, but to be honest the water looked dirty. the breakfast I had on last day and very upsetting, it was basically cold also That’s your breakfast?? 2 sausages they were tiny, I’ve had much better in 4star hotels? very disappointing breakfast. I’ve had many 4 star hotels that were better than this….. Paid nearly 500 euro or more to stay here….so I expected more better service, pay extra to stay inner city this hotel was horrible….overall very disappointed with this hotel…

First impression is not good, looks like a disused petrol station forecourt from the front. The front door and the side door were both locked so we found our way in through the back door. Doors are manned by security staff and locked at times during the day so this did not exactly fill us with confidence. Rooms are extremely dated and could do with a good clean. They also felt damp. Bed linen and towels were old and threadbare. Some of the towels smelt musty. The pool area was nice although many of the sun loungers were broken and unusable and the area was in need of some maintenance. Food was OK The shop had very little stock. Now to the staff. Jake and Spiros were both very helpful and friendly and made our stay bearable. The manager was not so friendly and appeared very scruffy. She did nothing all day except sit in a chair and feed the local cats. Would not return.

Stayed a week here. When we arrived, the outside wasn't so inviting but when we saw the poolside it was lovely, Checking in at reception jake was so helpful all staff were so nice and friendly 😊 We got our room, which was 322. Looking over the pool. The room was so spacious. It just needs a bit updating. the bed was so comfortable, and there was lots of space in the bedroom. The food was nice 😋 and the pints were lovely 😍 I would recommend these apartments but you would be better with hiring a car 🚗 as the nearest pub which was legends bar was a fifteen minutes walk, beautiful place to eat and drink food was lovely and quiet reasonable.

Cheap, tired but has an indoor pool and jacuzzi as the highlight. Near to sea for a walk, wonderful restaurant behind the complex. Nice outdoor pool area. Friendly staff. Keep valuables in the safe.

After seeing a lot of negative reviews we were worried about the hotel but but there was nothing to worry about from when we arrived to when we left I have nothing but praise for the service we received my partner is disabled and was hindered in anyway it's not the Ritz but if that's what you want then pay those crazy prices

For the price we were incredibly impressed & pleased with the size of our room. It had 2 bathrooms (both shower/bath & toilet in each), a spacious bedroom with lovely views, a kitchenette & a living area with sofas - plus dining table/chairs. However the tv didn’t work as the lead had the wrong plug type lol? The bed was a good size but very cranky & the sheets weren’t the best quality or the most comfortable - neither was the faux fur style blanket duvet. Unfortunately the hotel does not change towels every day which we felt we needed. I think they gave us a fresh towel each every 3rd day of our stay. But they did make the bed every day & change with fresh sheets. They also provided new toilet rolls & mini bars of packaged soap every day. Bring your own hair shampoo! Kitchen had decent amount of utensils, but weren’t thoroughly cleaned. We found it difficult to clean them as there was no dish washing equipment provided (no kitchen soap, sponge or wipes etc). 10min walk from the main (and last) bus station in Coral Bay, which has a nice beach there. main Coral Bay beach is about a 20 min walk. Pafos buses are quick/cheap. 1.50€ pp or 5€ for a unlimited bus day pass pp. Takes 2 buses to get to airport. Use MOOVIT app. Electric scooters for hire parked right outside the hotel. It took us about 8mins to get to main ***** of Coral Bay bars/restaurants (cost around 4€ each for that distance). Hotel pool was great! Hotel food average. For price, overall 8/10.

We've had a great stay. Mini market, restaurant, lovely pools and spacious rooms at the hotel. Yes parts of it are dated but it's 30 degrees most of the year so this is likely to happen anywhere. We've only paid £40 a night for self catering so that's great for a 3 Star hotel. Some holiday sites are still saying its a 4 star but it's not. Location is 10 minutes away from the beach but a nice walk. The bus (615) stops outside the beach and takes you all the way to paphos where you can get another bus further if needed. It's only 5 euro for a day pass per person to go anywhere. I recommend getting the bus to Harbour Station and trying the food there which was outstanding. Please don't listen to some reviews on here as they are a bit over the top!
