The facilities are outdated, probably worth no more than 80 yuan domestically. There's bird droppings everywhere, and the room is dirty and messy. You have to climb a very high and steep staircase. If you have any other choice, definitely don't stay here.

The climb up the hill is strictly for the sober. The only positive was the number of beds, suitable for a family of 4. Soundproofing is non-existent, 100% noise from the shed next door. I woke up to their alarm clock. The toilet and shower are absolutely dreadful. You might even have monkeys visiting. There are no face towels, no toiletries, and everything is run-down. For $220, you get a shed with 4 beds and that's it. This shed is worth a maximum of $30.

Paid for a so-called Super Deluxe Double room with ocean view, got a view of the other bungalows instead from the terrace (see picture). Big disappointment as I wanted my fiancee and I to enjoy a wonderful and scenic view. Pros : huge room with big bathroom, room serviced every day, nice staff, small pool. Cons : never ending flight of stairs to reach the rooms (staircase as seen better days...), no curtain for the big window above the bay window, all bungalows are next to one another (no privacy + noise), pool closes at 6 pm and has little shade.

Didn't care for the salt water showers but the rest was ok. Great coffee at the lobby entrance and good location. Five minute walk to everything. Big private deck. Get the upper unit as it sounded like elephants trampling around up above. I would stay there again.

The hotel is too expensive for what it offers. All hotels In Phi Phi are around the same price though. The views are great but to reach the room you have to climb a lot of stairs and it is really tired. The room was too simple and no cleaning service was offered. It's just not worth the price.
