I had a wonderful stay at SAii Phi Phi Island Village. The resort is very clean, well maintained, and the service is excellent. The staff are friendly, helpful, and always smiling, which made the experience even better. The location is perfect — peaceful, beautiful, and surrounded by nature, yet everything you need is easily accessible. One of the highlights of my stay was the diving/snorkeling experience. It was absolutely amazing, with crystal-clear water and many different kinds of fish. Truly unforgettable. I really enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone visiting Phi Phi Island. I would love to come back again!

For a hotel that charges over USD 1,000 per day, it should deliver much more. The gym is terrible. All the glass is dirty. The view is beautiful, but there is so much dirt that you can barely see outside. What are you doing with the money you charge? Invest in new gym equipment — the facilities are falling apart. The same applies to the bicycles: very old and poorly maintained. There are many 5-star hotels that charge one-third of what you charge and deliver far more. There is no proper program for children. The hotel hosts many families, yet there are no staff or monitors organizing activities for kids. The hotel clearly needs a major upgrade. I also believe the photos on the website do not accurately represent the current condition of the hotel. On the positive side, the staff are very helpful, and dinner was acceptable. That said, during the five days we stayed at the hotel, I only ate there once — because the restaurants near the hotel are excellent and cost about one-third of the price. For example, I paid 120 baht for a Corona in Phi Phi, while the same beer at the hotel cost 360 baht. That’s not just expensive — the prices inside the hotel are simply unreasonable.

It takes about an hour to get to Phi Phi Island from Phuket Royal Marina by the hotel's speedboat. The hotel front desk staff doesn't speak any Chinese, so you'll need to communicate entirely in English. You can book your return transportation when you check in. The hotel environment is very nice, the staff are all very polite, and the rooms are clean. The only downside is the excessive number of mosquitoes! Be sure to bring your own mosquito repellent! Also, bring some mosquito patches, as there are many mosquitoes outdoors too! The hotel has a Western restaurant, a buffet restaurant, a Thai restaurant, etc. The food quality is generally mediocre, and the prices are not cheap. The Thai restaurant is halfway up the hill, requires reservations, and it's dark with lots of mosquitoes, so I don't recommend going there. For the return trip, I'm not sure why we shared a boat with guests from three other hotels along the way. There were a lot of people and luggage, and it was very crowded. My boyfriend and I sat together, and some white "mean girls" commented that we were selfish and didn't understand why we didn't sit separately to maintain balance... but no other couples on the boat were sitting separately. Since we were the only two Chinese people, it's hard not to suspect discrimination.

The facility was great and it was beautiful and it did offer a number of amenities but I will be honest the service wasn’t the greatest. I felt as if as a paying customer I was constantly being treated like I was a burden for asking for things like “extending my say” I don’t want to generalize and say it was all the workers there was a man named “Chan” who had a very passive aggressive attitude with me and other people there. I understand that it’s a 5 star resort and it is on the pricier side but it constantly felt like they were also trying to capitalize on the necessities you’ll need because it is on an isolated island. (Word of advice go to the local village for things like pharmacy needs, cosmetic and booking boats and excursions it’s 10 times cheaper.) At the resort they will do things like charge nearly 30$ for a bottle of sunscreen at the gift shop because they know you’ll need it. Going back to this I tried to extend my stay with them and Chan told me I was going to have to pay double the original price if I wanted to stay another night I quickly went online and saw that it was half the price that he quoted and just immediately felt quite put off and like he was doing whatever possible to milk us financially when we are already being generous and willing customers. I was in a group of four people and everyone in my group had stomach issues after eating at the breakfast buffet so that was a problem as well. We were also not told that on the resort is a mosque and you will be woken up to the call of prayer frequently. I have no problem with people exercising there religious traditions I would just like a forewarning about being woken at 5AM to hear the it.

Never thought I’d be able to stay in a place like this on a very reasonable price. I’m a super happy that I chose this place over the cheap and convenient Tonsai area options. It was peaceful even though there were quite a lot of families with small children. I’m not sure if this was because I was a few days ahead of the October 1 opening of Maya Bay tourism season but nevertheless, it was a great experience. Hotel organized activities are quite pricy but a lot of options with the local village tour vendors so shop around before you decide.
