Sheraton Philadelphia University City Hotel

The hotel's location is excellent, right next to the University of Pennsylvania campus, just a block away from the Penn bookstore. There's a coffee shop on the ground floor where you can have breakfast, but it's a bit pricey. There are several restaurants across the street; Wawa's bagels are decent, but I'd be cautious about the others.

The room was clean and tidy, with complete facilities, and the surrounding area was relatively quiet. It was convenient to walk to UPenn, and there was a small supermarket and a bagel shop right opposite. Overall, the experience was quite good.

The room is spacious and quiet, and the service is excellent. Housekeeping comes daily to clean and replenish water. The hotel is located on the UPenn campus (slightly to the north), making it convenient to access the campus. There's a Wawa directly across the street from the hotel, which is great for general grocery shopping and also offers self-service ordering for Western-style brunch and hot food. The food is tasty, and you don't need to tip extra. The only drawback was a temporary elevator malfunction where I was stuck inside for a couple of minutes, but it fortunately resumed normal operation quickly.

The hotel is very close to UPenn, practically on campus. The facilities are new, and the environment is nice. There's a direct bus to downtown.

Great location, close to UPenn. The front desk service was excellent! Our room was unexpectedly cancelled when we arrived in the morning due to an overnight move from out of state. After explaining to the front desk, they kindly offered an early check-in. The hotel also helped Ctrip process a refund for two nights, and Ctrip was very responsible, even refunding the price difference! Although the process was a bit troublesome, they genuinely solved the issue! Throughout the entire process, my trust in Ctrip and Sheraton was not misplaced! Thumbs up!

The room has been recently renovated, and there's a slight 'new renovation' smell. Some painting work is still ongoing in the lobby, but it didn't really affect our stay. It's super convenient for getting to UPenn. There's a Chinese restaurant on the first floor, though we didn't try it. The room facilities are pretty good. Recommended.
