Reviews of Okay Palace Hotel

This was the best hotel! I'd love to stay here again. The female staff members were incredibly kind and attentive, making my stay very pleasant. The room was also very spacious and clean. It's located on a quiet street just off the main road. It's conveniently close to convenience stores, supermarkets, and restaurants. Plus, it's centrally located, perfect as a base for exploring Phnom Penh (the Royal Palace is just a short walk away).

Excellent location – the Royal Palace, National Museum, the waterfront, streets with bars and cafes, and art galleries are all just a few minutes' walk away. I stayed in the second building, and the only minor inconvenience was having to cross the street to the main building for breakfast and the pool. But that's not critical at all. The rooftop pool is simply magnificent, and breakfasts with local cuisine and a view of Phnom Penh make the mornings especially pleasant. I would gladly stay here again.

While the room look old style, it is clean and the room has 2 way of colling - aircon and ceiling fan which is really good. For the price, i cant complain although i requested for higher floor but unfortunately they were not able to provide. The receptionist is very accomodating.😁

Breakfast is a buffet at the neighboring hotel and it was good. The location is convenient, with cafes, massage parlors, and the Royal Palace nearby. The hotel is situated in a narrow alley, which made it seem a bit gloomy when we arrived at night. However, the hotel itself is well-maintained, even though it's not new. The room was a bit dim due to the dark furniture and limited lighting fixtures. There also weren't enough power outlets (one in the room, one far behind the bed, and one in the bathroom). The air conditioning and plumbing were in working order.

I've stayed at this hotel many times before. Everything is always to my complete satisfaction! The staff is very helpful and friendly 👍

We had a good experience at Okay Palace. It is centrally located and the staff is really nice. The rooms are bigger than most we hace stayed in Asia. There were some details that could be easily improved, like mold in the shower a d the refrigerator. It's a little scary at night for women traveling alone because it's inside an alley. Overall, I recommend this hotel.

Not recommended. The location of the hotel is so scary. When we get there, the staff didnt even prepare everything ahead. They just gave us 1 key card, and will charge $10 if youll ask for another. Lights are broken, the room is so dark, creepy like someone is watching you somewhere lol. Imagine, arriving at 11pm with my grandma and they even put us on 12th floor. We were expecting a good treatment as we were all tired, but received otherwise. Improve your lightings, the lobby is so dark as well. Overall, NOT RECOMMENDED.

The room was nice and the location was excellent, making it convenient to get around. However, the male and female staff at the front desk were incredibly difficult! When checking out, I was half an hour late because I was eating at the hotel restaurant. According to my membership level, I should have had a 2 PM checkout, but I checked out at 12:30 PM. The front desk lady started yelling that she would fine me! She was so unreasonable! The hotel had massage advertisements, so I asked the front desk for prices. The male staff member then snidely told me they only provide "traditional services"... What was that even supposed to mean!

Good value for the money. Large, comfortable room, clean, well A/C'ed. Also, great laundry service if one is ever needed. The alley leading to the hotel isn't great but the overall location is pretty good. Lots of restaurants and bars. River is a 7 min walk.

This hotel, tucked away in an alley and then another turn, offers great value for a budget-friendly option. It features an old-fashioned solid wood decor with a strong Southeast Asian flair. The towels and bath towels, however, are very old and worn, so it's best to bring your own toiletries. The hygiene is acceptable, but there are mosquitoes, and most hotels here don't provide mosquito repellent. I needed ice cubes in the middle of my stay, and they were delivered to my room upstairs. Overall, it's quite good, and it's less than a ten-minute walk to the palace.

Feelings likely the hotel from Siem Reap but a little hard to park.

Staff friendly, breakfast good. In good location would recommend.

It was the most beautifully wooden crafted hotel i have ever stayed. Service as a whole was excellent except nobody was at the receptionist when we tried checking out early to catch our flight. Luckily, there was a security guard who unfortunately didn't speak any English yet very helpful.
