Mekong View Tower Phnom Penh

I had high hopes for this hotel, but my recent stay was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, I found the lobby to be chaotic and understaffed. The check-in process was slow, and the receptionist was indifferent and unhelpful. The room itself was a nightmare. The carpet was stained and had a strange odor. The bed linens were not clean, and the pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the air conditioning was broken, and the room was unbearably hot. The bathroom was no better. There was mold in the shower, and the water pressure was weak. The towels provided were threadbare and looked like they hadn't been replaced in years. The amenities were also subpar. The so-called "gym" was a tiny, dingy room with outdated equipment. The pool area was dirty, and the water looked cloudy and uninviting. Breakfast was a disaster too—cold food, limited options, and long lines. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It was an unpleasant experience, and I will definitely not be returning.
