It seemed a bit dark inside when I arrived at 6pm but the staff were quite friendly and helpful. I was exhausted from my travels and had to get to a meeting so I didn't get back til after 10. I got a good nights sleep two of the three nights while I was there. Friday night they had music bumping in the lobby area that I could hear on the 7th floor. I did finally sleep and do not know when it stopped beating. I appreciated the staff who were friendly both evening and morning and the morning complimentary coffee. I felt safe at this place.

I hate hotels that only have expensive valet parking, but sometimes in a downtown area that's all there is. Other than that this is a super cool, funky place that I would definitely consider staying again.

I can't tell you what an amazing experience my best friend and I had staying here. We were in town to see Justin Timberlake. Upon check in we were heated with a smile by "Jelly". You receive a "free drink" coupon with your stay. I don't drink so she make me the most beautiful Shirley Temple. The "Stash" closet had all the things I needed that I forgot at home. Such a quaint room. I love the vintage look and feel of the whole place. I didn't want to leave. ONLY downside was parking. You are pretty much forced to valet park.

We had never heard of Moxy Hotels but we were very pleased with our experience. It was excellent. It had a vibe which I used to ascribe to W Hotels. The ground floor bar area was funky and loud but very enjoyable. Highly recommend.

I chose this hotel to watch a baseball game. It was a stylish and nice hotel. There were negative reviews on Google and other sites, such as "small," "no refrigerator," "difficult to find the check-in counter," and "expensive parking." I also inquired about parking in advance, but I didn't get a reply from the hotel, so I was worried, but there were no fatal problems. I headed to the hotel by rental car, and there was a valet parking staff in front of the hotel. It was very convenient because you just drop off your luggage and hand over the key. The next morning, I checked out around 7:00, but the valet parking staff seemed to be there from 5:00, so there was no problem. (Valet parking seems to be a regional thing, and all the hotels in this area had similar prices.) Check-in is at the bar counter. I was happy to receive a welcome drink. The room was not as small as the reviews said, and the bathroom was spacious. Please note that there is no refrigerator, water, coffee/tea, etc. This hotel is in a very convenient location (within a 10-minute walk) for watching baseball and basketball games. After the game, it's very convenient to be able to walk back to your hotel room in less than 10 minutes amidst the chaos. I recommend it.

The only parking option is to pay $45 plus tips for valet and they still charged us even though we never parked there. Rooms are TINY and LOUD. Don’t plan on sleeping in, even on a Sunday! Good location but I would splurge on Palomar next time as I had a way better we experience there in the past.

It has a very retro-hip personality, friendly and cheerful staff, and great location for downtown. The only downside was that we had to pay $45 for valet parking.
