Baan Luang Harn

We stayed two nights. Walking distance to wat Mahathat and other attractions, and also the Bang Lan night market. Very nice small cottages and a reception/dining area surrounding a small pond. Very nice and helpful staff. They have bikes to rent. Breakfast was delicious. We were glad we had moskito repellent.

A pretty location, bungalows around a small pool with shadow trees and a small bridge to the reception/breakfast area. Quaint and quietly situated. Rooms are clean but basic. There is a nice pool on the back of the location. A short walk to the local sights which is easily strolled and lots to see and do locally. Personnel is not as friendly as expected.. The quality/price relation is one of the bests in Thailand.

Fabulous stop in Ayutthaya. I can see why this place is number 1 on Tripadvisor. We had a deluxe cabin and had a glorious stay. Fab service and wonderful surroundings. Our room to clean, well looked after and had good AC. Host was attentive and we had a great breakfast. Such a lovely place to stay.

Lovely family run guesthouse with attention to detail. Gorgeous gardens and restaurant area overlooking the pond. Accommodation was spotlessly clean and though minimal everything you need was there. Great air-conditioning and comfortable bed. We had a quiet night and a great sleep. Breakfast was supplied and delicious with a homestay feel. The roti rolls were fabulous.

Baan Luang Harn is a lovely little place to stay in Ayutthaya. We had a Deluxe Bungalow, which was so sweet, very clean, and had all we needed for a 2 night stay with good air-conditioning and a nice shower. It was very relaxing to sit on the deck chairs on the front porch. Breakfast was included in our room price, and you ate in the lagoon pavilion dining area, which was very nice with some simple options, or ordered cooked breakfasts of a few types the day before. The pool is just right for a cool off swim after visiting the historical park. There are good local eating options nearby and a 7 Eleven. We arranged a Tuktuk to take us around the historical sites and then to the train station when leaving. Very reasonable price for the accommodation & I recommend staying here.

The hotel on the whole was good, but it occurred to us that the cottages at the front of the property were not especially secure at nighttime. Though we don't know the security arrangements in place, they appeared somewhat isolated and dark, with only a low wall between them and a dark urban road behind. - Please see Google maps, The other rooms would seem better.
