Was very impressed with the interior and architectural of the property, service is also attentive. However the 2 big let downs of our experience were 1. Insufficient parking space 2. Weak shower power As i arrived the hotel after dinner and was told by the guard to park of the side road temporary until the space is available. I just believe that hotel prioritized parking space of diners over the residents. They should manage it better next time round. I had to park my car by the side road which is dangerous until i ll be called upon to move the car after the diners have left the property. It is not at all convenient for us. Secondly, shower water power is very weak and heating system is not very stable.

Quite a decent place. Older style hotel. Room fine, good river view too. Bed comfortable. Do not expect to have a refreshing shower unless you are under 150cm as it is fixed to the wall and made for small people. Anyone taller and bending down the only option, very poor really. Pool was quite good but cold as it gets no sun until much later in the afternoon. Refreshing though. Various on-site restaurants. Bar near lobby area, prices way too much I noticed. Breakfast was quite good although the staff were not friendly, seemed disinterested and some often seen larking about maybe as it was not too busy when we went. 5 minutes walking distance to train station where there are Tuk Tuks and a few eating places as well as the usual street food. 7-11 too. Train to or from BKK is worth the experience (but takes a while to go 70km) and 3rd class trip costs 15 THB...wtaf! The boat river crossing is closed at the moment as the river is too high. Getting across the river needs to be by Tuk Tuk or taxi really. Normally at least one Tuk Tuk outside the hotel too. You know the form, must haggle them down. We used Grab a lot and got where we wanted to go. Probably can walk to some of the historic sites but probably not advised and Grab is cheap and has AC so is the way to go. There is Soi Farang and Grand Street for a livelier atmosphere with more bars and restaurants, again a cheap taxi ride away. Overall not a bad place and decent location for a reasonable and not too expensive a price.

The location is very good. It’s convenient everywhere. The environment is elegant. There is also a ruin at the door. The room is good for a daze. The bedding is also very comfortable. The daily room service is very good. It’s just the breakfast room management staff. We had breakfast at 9:30 at the latest, so we got down on time at 9:30 the next day, and then the breakfast staff was very impatient and said that we were down at 9:30, and the kitchen was closed at 10 o’clock. The key is that no one told us in advance. These are just telling us that we will come down to eat at 9:30 at the latest... We haven't finished eating at 10 o'clock because we only have dinner at 9:50. The seasoning bottles we brought at 9:50 will be taken away at 10 o'clock. Yes...At that time, there were actually other tables of guests eating, but they may not be hotel guests. I see that the restaurant is also open to the outside world and wrote that the business hours are from 10 to 18...The second breakfast is specially designed I came down to eat at 9 o’clock and I said that the staff was very impatient to eat in the garden and let us eat in the air-conditioned room. Now this is the situation, the air-conditioned room everyone understands... the air-conditioned room and the garden are separated by a glass door. Is it willing to deliver food...It wasn't until we finished eating that we took the initiative to take in the dishes and the staff's attitude improved. Located near Ayutthaya train station. If you come out there are many streets stalls available already . Hotel is very very old . Facilities and amenities are bad. We were not able to open the room door with the key because it’s so worn out . Had to try so hard . The toilet door was spoilt and wasn’t able to close properly. Shower curtains were mouldy . The beds were so worn out when you sleep you can feel the springs inside . The aircon temperature would fluctuate throughout the night making it difficult to sleep.

Stayed Two nights from 21/09/22 to 23/09/22 Located within close proximity to the ruins of Ayutthaya, this is a great place to stay if you are on a budget. I stayed in room 14 which was a double room access from the side of the main building. It was a fairly nice room for the price however there was no safe or fridge. The double bed was also only a mattress on the floor so there was that risk of bugs and ants making their way on to the bed itself. The gardens are a nice place to sit and have a drink however you will need to stop by a shop to pick something up as there is no bar or drinks fridge. Overall it is a nice budget place to stay. if you like luxury, it probably isn't for you however if you want something a little different, which is cheap, clean and well kept, I would highly recommend.

I stayed here for five nights on the final leg of my 2022 north-south road trip. Many of the guest houses in this neighborhood are still closed, this hotel was one of the only options I could find in this area. This is a pretty typical Thai/Asian-style city hotel. Behind the hotel, they have another building that is similar to a motel in the US. This is where I stayed. From the outside, it looks good, but the rooms are very basic with few amenities. Again, typical of a budget hotel that would cost 500 THB in another part of the country. At a walk-in rate of 790 THB, I thought the room was overpriced. On a positive note: the air conditioning, hot water, and refrigerator worked well and it was very clean. There is sufficient, on-site parking for those who self-drive.

Dear Thailand Traveler, While in Thailand, you may decide to make a stopover in Ayutthaya Province, which is one of the historic capital cities of Thailand. If you do, you may think about a stay at The Avail hotel. First, let me tell you that The Avail will not satisfy the needs of those seeking 5 star accommodations. Having said that, if you are seeking a clean, safe, comfortable, and affordable place to enjoy an evening or two while in Ayutthaya - you will be very satisfied checking into The Avail. What I found so satisfying about The Avail is that everything works, and works well. The bathroom is comfortable and the shower is hot, the bed is amazingly comfortable and the comforter is soft and warm, the air conditioner blows cold, and the room is clean. Everything that needs to work...does, and this is something that I cannot always say about even the most expensive places. Moreover, the staff is friendly, the price is right (900 THB/night), and the location is near historic ruins, elephant rides, and some very good restaurants. You cannot write a review and say only good things, so here is the best I can do to say something somewhat critical. There is no coffee or coffee cups in the room, but there is a hot water pot. On the bright side, if you want coffee, there is a complimentary coffee cart in the lobby with both. I am sure if you asked to take coffee to your room, they would be most happy to oblige. One more comment, I did not see a strong box in the room to store valuables. All and all - a very good find. Best/Kevin

The price is too high! The hotel is great. By the river, it is separated from the internet celebrity hotel Sala Ayutthaya. The environment does not lose it. Very Thai atmosphere, and the staff is very friendly. Especially the uncle at the door, the service is so good I am embarrassed, the person is sincere and kind. Opposite the hotel is a temple with a particularly beautiful night view. The room is big enough and the bath water is strong. The bed is a big bed made of two beds, which does not affect. That is, the air conditioner is noisy, and light sleep will have some impact. The breakfast is a fruit buffet + a set menu, which is delicious. The nearby Thanam Viewing Restaurant has delicious dishes and the price is not expensive. Recommended stay

We stayed at the resort in one of the pool villas for an extended weekend. The villas are spacious and very nicely decorated, each in its own style. Ours had its balcony toward East, atop of the fish pond, which made a wonderful setup for a morning coffee (espresso machine dolce gusto in the room!). Some of the pool villas have an outdoor shower (private/closed of course) - you would have to ask for a room with it. The staff was super super helpful and friendly, assisting us in whatever we required. The restaurant with its open terrace is a wonderful setting for breakfast (bacon / ham and eggs, sausages, toast, marmalade, or Thai breakfast if you want) as well as for dinner. Food quality / taste was amazing. The whole setup is tranquil, the trees amazing (next to our villa was one in full blossom, inviting dozens of dozens of butterflies swarming up and down). Next to the restaurant there is a very cozy area with tables, chairs, benches and a swing under the tall trees. The spa was unfortunately closed during our stay but it would be reopened soon. Whenever we will come back to Ayutthaya, we will stay at Pludhaya again - next time we will opt for the suite version, on the other side of the resort, overlooking the fields. The setup is amazing but the hospitality of the team there made our stay truly enjoyable!
