Grand Bay Hotel - Grand World Phu Quoc

Really liked the location, close to Venice and the Teddy Museum. A quiet street. The sea is a 15-minute walk away. Breakfasts were a bit of a letdown.

Excellent value for money. We originally booked for one night but decided to extend for another four. The beach is a leisurely 10-15 minute walk away. The only downside is the very modest breakfast, with no pastries or hot coffee. But overall, everything was great!

At first glance, the building looks great, having only been built in 2025. Unfortunately, on closer inspection, you notice many things that were either forgotten or simply not yet finished. The air conditioning is very loud, making it impossible to sleep. If you turn off the air conditioning, the four outdoor AC units (at least 1 or 2 are usually running) that are directly on the (shared) balcony hum loudly. Additionally, we unfortunately had the bad luck of being on the same floor as tourists who didn't know how to behave (screaming children and loudly conversing adults in the hallway until after midnight and from 7 AM). If some improvements/optimizations are made here, it could be a very good hotel, but in its current state, I would not book again.

The hotel's location is great. You can watch the fireworks every day. It's close to the cable car, and everything is within walking distance. The hotel has a kitchen, TV, air conditioning, and internet, all working perfectly.

Good hotel. Clean. Breakfasts are modest (Vietnamese style). The downside is that our room had a sewage smell in the bathroom. Overall, everything else was okay. Most importantly, no insects and it was clean.
