Reviews of Aurora House

The environment is calm but still social enough to make friends. It’s clean and there are plenty of bathrooms. Sometimes frogs get into the room, but that’s because it’s surrounded by greenery. What might bother other guests, especially female travelers, is that some of the male staff members stay in the mixed dorm and can be a bit intrusive. For example, one of them kept opening my bed curtain several times trying to talk to me, even after I said "ok" and closed it. Another time, it happened to a girl who was asked for her contact details so he could message her later, and he even sat on her bed waiting for her to reply. Other than that, everyone else was kind, the location is good, and the place is clean. Every morning, the girls are cleaning, but the same guy I mentioned doesn't make an effort to keep the shared space clean.

Such an incredible place. The host was amazing at helping us figure out visas. The room was spotless every time we left. The pool was incredible and best of all it’s right in the heart of the city centre.

What a wonderful place! The staff were very efficient and friendly. Thank you! The location was great as many restaurants and coffee shops are around, and it’s just a 10 minute walk to the beach too! Love it!

Good experience at Aurora house. The owner was very kind to me and helpful. And have a cute dog. I would come back.

Receptionist was extremely nice and understanding. Accidentally threw up in the room after drinking, receptionist immediately gave me new mattress and blankets and cleaned the room for me, very sorry for the inconvenience, everything was great there!

It was great I booked this hotel! The owner was really nice, everything is great, bed is bed and comfortable, room are very big too!! Nice price with nice room. It was just few mins walk from the free bus stop, and taking bus is very easy. I drove motorcycle to the sunset town it only takes me 25 mins and to the Grand world only took me 35-40 mins. I am defo will stay again for next time.

very hospitable and wonderful hotel. I liked everything, from the size of the room which after Ho Chi Minh is really big, to the beach, which is a wild beach and the island’s people go there to swim, but the fact of the matter is that the beaches adjacent to the hotels are full of employees who watch your every step and here there are few people only, a good local bar and excellent Saigon coffee , the water in the sea has always been warm. from hotel till beach is 7-10 min by slow step. The hotel pool was clean and after sunset everyone always went out to swim and dive. The room was cleaned every day, clean towels, new bottles of water. We wanted to make a fish barbecue but we had no experience for making fare & a hotel employee helped us. he went and bought fuel and helped light the coals. Without him it definitely wouldn’t have happened.....we are very glad that we chose Aurora House to stay.

This place is perfect, clean sheets, working A/C, good location and super affordable. Also the two brothers that run the place are amazing and really helpful.

ended up not staying due to the system overbooking

Safe area. We went home around 2AM. Gate was already closed. Card key can be used to open it. Many local restaurants nearby. Hotel owner was accommodating to our queries. We will definitely book again in the same hotel soon. Thanks
