Before my trip, I did extensive research and looked at countless hotels, including Marriott and Regent (which are good, of course). Many people commented that Vietnam has a lot of mosquitoes and poor hygiene, and that many hotels discriminate against or are unfriendly towards Chinese tourists. This made me quite uneasy. Among the many hotels, I prioritized cleanliness, hygiene, and warm, attentive service. I ultimately chose Anantara, and it absolutely lived up to my expectations – it's fantastic! It's clean, hygienic, and the staff are almost always smiling and provide enthusiastic service. As one guest review I saw put it, 'All the friendly people are at this hotel.' 😊 My child and I had a very comfortable stay. Although there aren't many entertainment facilities, it's quiet, and my child had a wonderful time in the private pool. I gave it a full five-star rating. Chinese travelers can choose this hotel with confidence! 👍 The hotel offers a shuttle service to the nearby night market and free airport pick-up (though it's a shared shuttle with other guests). For your itinerary, the best option while staying here is to book a boat trip. The hotel is centrally located, about a ten-minute drive from the airport. Everything was excellent. The room is spacious enough for self-catering, perfect for families with kids or groups of friends. It even has its own pool, great for kids to burn off some energy! Right outside the room, you'll find the beach with beautiful coconut trees, creating a wonderfully comfortable and pleasant atmosphere.

The hotel is clean! There have a private swimming pool inside. The restaurant’s food is ok. But at the last day, before the checking out time. when we packing the luggage for check out, the house keeping came into our room to hurry them. Feeling impolite and bad feeling.

The villa is conveniently located near supermarkets, restaurants, and even a night market, making it easy to find everything you need. Calling a Grab (taxi service) is also very convenient, and it's close to all the theme parks. The service at the accommodation was excellent. The only downside was the abundance of mosquitoes and insects. It would be even better if children's amenities (e.g., toothbrushes, toothpaste, slippers) were provided!

It will be even better if there are more variety of breakfast types, only a few choices in each type, ie chinese - siu mai, korean - bibibap, vietnamese - noodles.  The 4 bed room villa is awesome. Really enjoy the time, each room is really big. Also borrowed a bicycle to ride around. The beach view is amazing. I especially like the receptionist Rendy, Lucas and Luna. Their English is really good, they are helpful.  It rained really badly this afternoon when we walked back to the hotel from a restaurant. I contacted the hotel via whatsapp and they arranged a buggy to give us a ride to hotel. Really appreciate.

We recently stayed at Andochine Resort & Spa Phu Quoc and had a truly wonderful experience. The resort offers a perfect blend of luxury, privacy, and relaxation, making it an ideal choice for families or groups of friends. Our private pool villa was spacious and exceptionally clean. The resort grounds are well maintained, creating a peaceful tropical atmosphere throughout the stay. The private beach was stunning, with soft sand, calm waters, and breathtaking sunset views in the evening. What impressed us most was the outstanding hospitality provided by the staff Mia. She was warm, responsive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests felt welcome and comfortable. The buggy service was convenient, and the airport transfer made arrival and departure seamless. Breakfast offered a good variety of local and international dishes, while the beachfront setting made every meal even more enjoyable. The resort’s location is also excellent—close enough to the airport and key attractions, yet secluded enough to provide a quiet and relaxing escape. Overall, Andochine Resort & Spa exceeded our expectations. If you’re looking for a luxurious beachfront retreat in Phu Quoc with spacious private pool villas and exceptional service, this resort is highly recommended. We would definitely return on our next visit to Phu Quoc

Hotel had gotten out original booking wrong and we ended having to split into 2 villas for our family which wasn’t ideal.  Getting in touch with hotel was also difficult prior to arriving. But upon arrival, front desk was pretty responsive, house was also ok although the bed felt a little sandy even when we first arrived. Baby cot wasn’t working great was one latch wasn’t working, base came off after 1 night.  Breakfast bistro was small and crowded most times but ok if u arrived early which we did. Food rotated all 5 days we were there.

We booked a four-bedroom villa for eight people. Each room was clean and tidy, although there was a slight blockage on the upper level. They immediately arranged a six-person seafood BBQ set for us, with a dedicated chef grilling, and the taste was excellent – highly recommended. However, since it was July, the rainy season, there was heavy rain and very high waves, so we couldn't go to the beach to play. The front desk staff were very polite and helped us with many travel-related issues. The self-service breakfast area was a bit small, but the food quality was acceptable!

The villa is perfect for an 8-person family stay. The facilities and environment are excellent, and it's close to the airport. The hotel arranged a private transfer that took only 15 minutes. If we had any issues, we could contact the hotel staff via WhatsApp or WeChat, and they would quickly resolve them.

We stayed here for 2 nights as a group of 13 (including children), and the overall management and customer service were deeply disappointing. 🚗 Airport Transfer Chaos & Safety Concerns No show & excuses: We reserved and confirmed our airport pickup a week in advance via email and provided our WhatsApp contact. When we arrived, nobody was there, and no message was sent. When we called the hotel, they claimed they had already picked up another group with the exact same name and flight number. 15–20 minute delay: We were left waiting at the airport until a replacement driver arrived. Unsafe & cramped transport: Despite knowing we were a group of 13 with luggage, they sent a single 16-seater vehicle with no space for bags. Luggage ended up taking over passenger seats, forcing several children to sit on adults' laps during the drive. 🏠 Mismanagement of Room Transfers Broken promises: We booked two different room types for our two nights. Upon arrival, the receptionist assured us we would not need to check out after night one and could stay in our first villa until the next room was ready. 15-minute eviction: Right around standard checkout time, staff suddenly backtracked and demanded we vacate the villa immediately, giving a group of 13 people only 15 minutes to pack up and move. 💡 Verdict Poor communication, organisational chaos, and a complete lack of consideration for guest safety and comfort. If you are traveling as a family or large group, be prepared for miscommunication and severe service failures.

We stayed in the four-bedroom villa from July 7th to July 10th. On the morning of July 9th, a stranger unexpectedly entered our villa, and we later encountered them in the dining room. It was subsequently confirmed that this individual was a guest from another room who had successfully unlocked our door using their own keycard. Upon raising concerns with the management regarding this shared access, we were informed that the incident occurred because the electronic lock's battery had run out, causing it to fail. While the rest of our experience was pleasant, this critical security negligence made us feel highly uncomfortable and unsafe. I sincerely hope the management addresses this lock maintenance issue immediately to protect future guests.

The hotel environment is very clean and comfortable.

The hotel is generally clean, but one of our kids developed a rash after sleeping on one of the beds, leading us to suspect bed bugs. Fortunately, our butler, Henry, responded promptly and arranged for the bed to be cleaned. Despite the name "Andochine Villas Resort and Spa," we were surprised to find no on-site spa services available. That said, nearby massage parlors are just a convenient 5-10 minute buggy ride away. The hotel assisted us in arranging 16-seater vans for trips to the northern and southern tourist spots. However, one of the vans had ants on the seats, which was an unwelcome surprise. On the brighter side, the private swimming pool in our villa was clean and spacious enough for 4-5 kids to splash around and have a blast—we made some great memories there. The butler service truly elevated our stay, making everything easy. We simply messaged Henry via WhatsApp with any requests, and he was quite responsive. He even handled ticket bookings for some attractions and provided restaurant and massage parlor recommendations, which was a huge help for us as we hadn't done much prior research.
