Regent Properties in Phu Quoc Island

WARNING, your belongings may get stolen during your stay here! Came here right after the wedding. Had an absolutely gorgeous honeymoon in this hotel. Weather was bleak, and we did’t drink, but the holiday was still absolutely great. Just an amazing hotel all round, had a great time there, definitely best in Phu Quoc, even took their catamaran trip one morning. The downside is that somebody, probably a hotel staff, stole my wife’s 500usd sandals from our room. After chatting with the hotel management and telling then that we couldn’t left them anywhere but in the hotel room, hotel customer service just told us that they haven’t found them, and that is it. Wife was really fond of the shoes, so it finalised our perfect holiday with this blemish. Shame that hotel with such high standards and costs of more than 1,000 usd per room at the time of our booking, has such a poor security measures. So, BEWARE, if you stay here, put everything even remotely valuable into the safe box, shoes included.
