The hotel is extremely good. Very nice rooms very beautiful swimming pool. Nice view. I recommend this hotel. Honestly one of the best hotels I stayed in Phuket

Location is very good. Able to view the sea but is quite a distance away. Only 10mins walk to jungceylon mall. Although hotel is up the hill. Buggy service is provided to send guests up to the hotel lobby. Breakfast is so-so.

The room is quite spacious, and the pool is also large, offering a good amount of private space. What I liked most was having a sofa in the room where I could cast shows, and the kitchen came equipped with utensils, a microwave, and a fridge, making simple cooking perfectly feasible. However, this place has fewer public facilities and no beach. Although it's close to Patong Beach, the area is quite bustling with lots of people, which isn't ideal if you're looking for a relaxing stay. On the plus side, it's very close to Jungceylon, within walking distance.

Situated on a higher ground, stayed in a villa this time and it was excellent. Location is near Patong (<10 mins drive). Jungceylon is less than 10 mins walk and they provide shuttle service to n fro to this location if u required it. Breakfast is buffet style and it's halal based. They are kind enough and surprise us by presenting a cake during breakfast for my partner on her birthday. Excellent service !

Great value for money! The hotel offers a shuttle service and is very close to Jungceylon. In the evening, we'd go to Patong Night Market for dinner and a massage, then stroll back to the hotel. It was very quiet at night, so we weren't bothered by the noise from street motorcycles.

🛑 The Senses Resort Phuket | Front Desk Staff Bullied Guests Collectively To sum it up: Hidden fees + terrible attitude + no photos allowed + prohibited from posting reviews It truly set a new low for hotel experiences. 📍 The Senses Resort & Pool Villa Phuket 📅 Stayed in April 2026 👇 Scroll down to see all the conversations and evidence. 💢 The worst checkout experience: Hidden fees + on-the-spot coercion When checking out, I returned one room key. The female front desk employee was cold, offered no greeting or explanation, and made me wait for 3-4 minutes. · She suddenly asked: “Where is the other room key?” · I said my friend had it, and she demanded I call my friend over. · Then she slapped down a bill that listed: 🔴 Room key 400 Baht 🔴 Robe 🔴 A bottle of wine (there was no wine in the room) 🔴 3 items like supermarket shopping bags (there were no shopping bags in the room) 🔴 Umbrella 🔴 Slippers 🔴 Bath towel ❌ Not mentioned on the Trip.com page ❌ Not informed during check-in ❌ Only brought up at checkout → A setup, coercion, and bullying. 📝 Original dialogue (vividly remembered): Front desk employee: “Where is another room key?” Me: “My friend keeps it.” Front desk employee: “Can you call your friend?” Me: “What happened?” Front desk employee: “Can you call your friend?” Me: “I don’t want to call my friend.” (I directly said: This kind of behavior is deception and bullying) Me: “Are you serious? I’ve stayed in hotels all around the world, this is the first time a hotel will charge for a room key. You should have informed us first. You didn’t show me when we checked in, you didn’t show it on the booking page, and now you’re showing it to us?! Call your manager!” The female manager arrived, holding the bill, with a look like she was dealing with a criminal. Me: “This charge information is important. If you want to charge for a room key, you have to inform us at check-in and on the Trip.com booking page, because then I wouldn’t choose your hotel.” Female manager: “Keep your voice down.” Me: “I don’t need to keep my voice down, because other guests should know this.” Female manager: “Can you listen to me?” Me: “I don’t want to listen to you, just refund my deposit.” 📸 I tried to take photos for evidence, and the female manager snatched my phone. Me: “If you don’t inform your guests, I can inform for you. Why can’t I take a picture?! I’ll leave comments on the internet about your hotel.” Female manager: “You are not allowed to leave comments!!” 🔍 My analysis one: Not allowing photos is a setup. There’s no reason why a normal business wouldn't allow photos of a bill. You can photograph menus, and you can photograph bills. The more she refused, the more it proved that this bill couldn't withstand scrutiny → 100% a setup designed to trick guests. 🔍 My analysis two: This bill itself is fraudulent. Let me look closely at the items on it: · Room key charge: In all normal hotels worldwide, a lost room key might incur a replacement fee, but only if stated beforehand. Here, it wasn't mentioned, and the key wasn't even lost. · Robe, slippers, bath towel, umbrella: These are reusable items in hotel rooms. Normal hotels only charge for them if they are clearly damaged or lost, and this would be clearly stated at check-in. Here, there was no such statement. · A bottle of wine: There was no wine in the room. Listing a charge for a non-existent bottle of wine – what kind of operation is this? · 3 supermarket shopping bags: There were no shopping bags in the room. Are they charging for bags too? And they weren't even there; this is making things up out of thin air. Conclusion: This bill contained both “items that didn't exist in the room” and “items that shouldn't be charged for normal wear and tear.” This is no longer just poor service; it's outright fraud. 😂 The most ironic thing: Two minutes later, my friend came in (unaware of what had just happened) and returned the room key. The room key was never lost. The 400 Baht “fine” was fabricated from the very beginning. 🇨🇳 I strongly suspect: This bill is only targeting Chinese guests. Why was it only shown to me (a Chinese guest)? And the bill listed wine and shopping bags, items that weren't even in the room – if a tourist didn't understand English well or was intimidated, they might just pay up confusedly. → A trap specifically targeting Chinese tourists. 🦟 First day of stay: Mosquitoes + questioning guests Checked in at 12 AM, the room had mosquitoes. I called the concierge: Me: “There are mosquitoes in the room, could you send us some mosquito killer?” Phone employee: “Have you opened the door?” (Did you leave the door open?) Mosquitoes in a hotel are the hotel's responsibility, why question if the guest left the door open? Waited 20 minutes, they brought mosquito repellent spray, saying they had no mosquito coils. In the end, I went to 7-Eleven myself to buy mosquito coils. 🚫 Summary of this hotel's issues: 1. Concealed important charges (fraud + coercion) 2. Front desk staff collectively bullied guests (snatching documents, prohibiting photos, saying “you are not allowed to leave comments”) 3. Shirked responsibility (questioning guests about mosquitoes) 4. Utterly impolite (not a single “Sorry/Hello/Thank you”) 5. The bill included items that were not in the room (wine, shopping bags) – this is fabricated fraud. 6. Allegedly set up to target Chinese guests. 7. Not allowing photos is solid evidence. I have no other demands. No apologies, no compensation. My sole purpose: to let everyone planning a trip to Phuket, especially Chinese tourists, know the true nature of this hotel. ⚠️ Think twice before booking. 📢 I have already posted this review on multiple platforms. I hope no other guest will be “bullied” by this hotel like I was.

We stayed 5 nights at The Senses Resort & Pool Villas in Phuket for our honeymoon, and we would not recommend this hotel. The biggest issue happened on our last day. We discovered water leaking from the ceiling into our room, which soaked clothes inside our suitcase. There was water pooled under the suitcase, and clearly an ongoing leak from above. This is unacceptable, especially for a honeymoon stay. After reporting it, the hotel sent staff and an engineer. Initially, they only offered to clean the wet clothes. Only after pushing did they agree to wash all our clothes and offer a small food compensation, which felt inadequate. We requested a room change, but the replacement suite was significantly worse — smaller, the AC was not working, the balcony door didn’t close, and the balcony view was heavily blocked by the elevator structure. Throughout the entire process, they repeatedly refused our requests and insisted that the issues were resolved when they clearly were not. Another major issue was the hotel layout. Getting to our room on the 8th floor required taking three separate elevators with walking in between. The elevators have no air conditioning and are exposed to direct sunlight, making it extremely uncomfortable every time. The location is also inconvenient. It’s not close to main areas, and the shuttle service requires booking hours in advance. Without renting a bike, getting around is difficult. To make things worse, after our flight got canceled and we had no place to stay, we asked for a discounted rate to stay one more night in the same problematic suite. They refused and only offered the same price listed on Trip.com. Overall, the leak, the poor replacement room, the lack of proper resolution, and the way the situation was handled made this a very frustrating experience. We do not recommend this hotel. 0 Out of 5

The hotel's environment, hygiene, and breakfast are all good, and the pool is nice too. However, the air conditioning in the room is too noisy. Even on the lowest setting, the fan whirs loudly, making it very hard to sleep with it on. If you turn it off, it gets too hot to sleep. I strongly recommend the hotel upgrade its air conditioning system; it's really terrible!
