great family vacation spot if you want to get away from the hustle & bustle of patong beach but still near enough for a day trip to patong by taxis or tuk-tuk. Karon beach has its own shopping and restaurants belt area albeit smaller scale. It has its own private beach but can’t swim in the waters due to hazardous conditions.

The hotel is wonderful for families with kids - many pools, several restaurants and water slide. Bath on the balcony is a treasure! The downside was that if u want to go out to the downtown you have to take a taxi, nothing around.

Hotel makes a lot os mistakes in several areas, rooms are old and could be cleaner, some going trough renovation tho…amenities even for more expensive rooms are poor. Pool is great, clean and with good area for kids, despite not having lifeguard. Restaurantes have average food and failed to maintain dishes available, for couple of what we ordered was not available despite of the high price charged for everything, 160 thb for a coconut is 4x avg price a anywhere, 55 thb for a bottle of water is showing they just want to ripe you off. .

This resort is showing its age. The towels look old. They need to be changed. The lazy river that was the main attraction is not well maintenance. The water level in the pools and lazy river is noticeably lower by several inches. Can see the mark where the former water line was. As a result, the lazy river, which was a main attraction, is not that attractive any more. Location is a bit off from everything. Good if you want just a resort experience. Otherwise, you need to take a taxi to go into town for food and shopping. There's nothing around the resort.

The hotel is fantastic although a little secluded and you might have to walk a bit of a distance or get a taxi to the nearest shops. Nonetheless, if you are all for privacy, this is the perfect place to be.
