Sivana Place Phuket

I don't understand the glowing reviews I read before arriving at this hotel. Here are the downsides I want to highlight: 1. The towels seemed either unwashed or overused, and certainly didn't smell clean. Over our 4-day stay, it was impossible to tell if the towels had been changed or if they just refolded our old ones. 2. It was advertised as having a kitchen. As an athlete, calorie counting is important to me. There was no kitchen, just a microwave, a fridge, and some plates and spoons. I was disappointed. There was definitely enough space to install a proper kitchenette. What's more, there wasn't even a knife to cut fruit for breakfast. 3. The fact that beach towels cost extra was a huge disappointment. It's nonsensical. Two towels cost 180 baht; it would be easier to just buy a beach mat. Considering point 1 (the seemingly unwashed towels in the room), this was very frustrating. 4. I wasn't keen on the location; it was far from everything. However, this wasn't a major issue since we always had a scooter. Pros: Cleanliness, spacious room, a 24-hour grocery store with a great selection near the hotel, comfortable bed, plenty of power outlets, good mirror.

Perfect if you have a car. The pool is small and cold, only good for a quick dip. There are some exercise machines available.

Everything was absolutely great! From the friendly staff to the small details in the hotel ☺️. The location didn't matter to us since we had a scooter. We stayed in two different rooms, both were clean, cozy, and always tidied up 😊. We will definitely be back again!!! Thank you for a wonderful stay and excellent service ☺️

The hotel isn't bad if you're not walking, and it's relatively close to the beach. On the evening of our arrival, we found a large puddle of water near the balcony in our room. We contacted reception, and they offered to move us, but it was late, we were already settled in, and we didn't want the hassle. The hotel staff cleaned up the room. The room itself was standard. Both the hotel and the room are quite run-down. The location is near Bang Tao. Overall, the hotel isn't worth the money. It's quite small. Opposite our room, a Thai family lives, and they were celebrating something with a speaker all night, which was uncomfortable as we wanted to sleep. But it seems either no one else was bothered by them, or no one cared, as the Thai family kept the party going with their speaker until almost midnight.
