The Charm Resort Phuket

The location is very good, close to everything interesting. The service is ok, but you have to pay extra for ordering food in the hotel. You pay for the food, the delivery and also taxes. You can't see the total amount before ordering, only after the food got to you. Very disappointing, you think the pizza costs 220 Baht but then it becomes around 350. Other than that, the service is good and pretty fast. Although they got 2 numbers for requesting something and usually you dial the wrong one. The jacuzzi doesn't work, no one told this to us until we decided to use it on our last day, then we called the front desk and they said it's actually broken. Why it's not written down? The only reason for anyone to get this room is the jacuzzi. The cleaning is good, didn't need to ask to change the sheets when needed. They also wipe off the floor (saw it myself). The amenities are bad, they're very very basic and if you want more than 2 bottles of water, you have to pay extra for it. Never have I heard of a hotel which asks for extra charge for a bottle of water. And of course the bottle is overpriced by a lot. They also provide a bus at certain times to take you to the mall which is about 20 minutes walk. That's basically it.

This resort may look good and decent from the pictures shown in this platform and other booking platforms, but it is actually very dirty and disgusting. My partner and I have gotten the charm suite and we were very happy when we entered the room. All things looked fantastic until we wanted to use the jacuzzi. There were algae in all of the pumps.. We thought that that is fine since there is still a bathtub to use. Our worst experience started at night when we wanted to sleep and we found that there were bugs/larvae(?) everywhere in the room as per the picture attached. (Couldnt upload a video on it as it is images only) We asked the front desk and they sent housekeeper to our room and the housekeeper dare said that "no bug" "no bug" while squishing them dead. We demanded for a change of room and was told that the resort was fully booked, so we got a downgrade instead. We asked for the refund of the difference in price and was told that they could not do refund and offered free set lunch and dinner coupon. After the trip, we contacted trip.com customer support and requested if they could do the refund difference and they got back to us saying because we have gotten the free meal coupons, we cannot get the difference refunded back. IT IS NOT THAT WE WANTED THE COUPONS IN THE FIRST PLACE. WE WERE TOLD THAT THEY WILL NOT BE ABLE TO DO ANY REFUND WHICH IS WHY WE TOOK THE COUPONS!! STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Go for Sheraton or Graceland instead as they are just side by side.

Good location as its near Patong Beach but slightly off from the super busy area. Parking friendly with couple of car parking spaces under the basement. Breakfast might not be the best but you have plenty to choose from. Spacious room, facilities are ample to use. Good cost value.

First of all...I will rebook again. The location is excellent...directly across from Patong Beach but far enough away so you do not hear traffic noise. The breakfast is awesome...and always changes...the only downer is the bad Americano coffee....so bring a French Press and make your own. Always service with a smile. The only negative...beside the coffee...is the hot water would cool off every few minutes then heat up again. The tub was big enough for 5 people ...but you could not fill it with hot water. A pretty good gym...a great roof top pool. A good place to stay....enjoy!

Perfect for the 4 stars hotel💯 value for money. We enjoy our stay😃 we like the breakfast buffet. Nice location for the one who wants to stay near the beach. We recommend this hotel 😃

The Charm is a great location with a friendly staff. The breakfast is nice and has gf choices like an egg station, rice noodles, and fruit. They have a daily free shuttle to/from a mall. My room was nice and clean. There was no view, my balcony faced other rooms, but I did not request or pay extra for a view. I was already paying more for an executive suite. The Skyview pool is nice, but they don't tell you to bring your pool towel from your room. I assumed the pool towels in my room were for the private hottub. 🤷 Overall, I had a nice stay, but it wasn't memorable or especially nice for the price.

Convenient place to the beach, 7-11, thai/european food eateries. 15-20 min walking distance to bangla street. Plenty of massage parlours around. Street food vendors have the best food tastes imo. Hotel structure is old and some parts of the room reflect that. But the staff are polite, helpful, friendly and accommodating. The swimming pool has a great view as seen in the photos. The breakfast array was good, mix of different types of food. Happy hour cocktails are super worth!! 10/10 would come back here for a quick getaway to relax near the beach

Enjoyed our stay at The Charm Resort! Locating the hotel took awhile but checking in was a breeze. The hotel was slightly deep into the alley but was safe the couple of the days we stayed over. Room was spacious and toilet was clean!

Lobed this place location is perfect its opposite the nicest part of beach and has a 7/11 5 mins walk away. Great food and breakfast we had dinner and it was amazing and great value.cool rooftop pool and bar and 5 star service.A real great atmosphere and energy about the place.
