Pro: The location is perfect, right in the middle of everything. Clubs, bars, massages, food truck literally just steps away. The room had a balcony with “partial sea view”. The elevators have a panoramic view over the city. Ac was working fine! Bathroom was spacious. Nice pool with bar. Cons: breakfast was the same everyday, excpect they added the leftover food from day before. I have no problem with this, we need to fight against food waist, but the basic selection was boring. Room was extremely noisy. No sound proof doors to the corridor and none to the balcony. There are some clubs steps away and the do extremely loud music till 1-2 am. Please be prepared you need earplugs. The windows needs to be replaced. The cleaning was okay(ish), of course we found hairs here and there.. All in all a good stay, but not sure I would choose again due the extremely loud music.

I actually didn’t not choose this hotel before trip. My initial hotel was disguised as hotel by Agoba but was a nasty guys apartment. We refused to stay, so I had to find new one. The Gig Hotel was like a 100 yards away, and what a treasure it turned out to be. The price was amazing for this hotel first off. The room was extremely clean and not old or worn out. The bed is on firm side, but I slept amazing and quick all 11 days. The service was really good at front desk, restaurant, pool, and cleaning crew. No problems or issues. The pool might be best in Patong Beach. It was an infinity pool on roof. The sunsets up there are amazing. We were floored our first visit to pool, and it is hard to put into words. The breakfast buffet has limited choices and short time frame, but menu changes daily. We actually looked forward to breakfast ever morning though. The food was great. The location is as good as it gets. It is literally 100 yards from Bangla Rd, and probably 250 yards to beach. Food choice, massage parlors, and convenience stores even closer. The greatest part is you near the action, but far enough away to feel secluded. The hotel is behind building on main roadway. Truly a hidden gem.

If you are looking for a place to sleep and keep your things safely, this is the best and cheap place. There’s a small but nice swimming pool as well. Its a great location. Rental bike, atm, 7/11, laundry etc., are at walkable distance. This hotel is not located in an area with scenery. We went as couple and its very safe there.

The hotel has an excellent location, convenient shopping, rich breakfast, good service attitude, and no language barrier for communication in Chinese. The Roujiamo and Liangpi served by Chinese Shaanxi people downstairs are very authentic. I highly recommend these hotels.

Nice fresh hotel. Unpretentious breakfasts. The rooms are clean, if you need to clean, put the sign by the door in the ”Cleaning” position. If you need at least some views towards the sea in Patong, then take rooms with sea/city views and from the 4th floor and above. On the 6th floor (roof) there is a small bar and a swimming pool, a gym in the area of ​​15 sq.m. It’s not clear who uses them at all. Only if during vacation over 14 days, and that’s not a fact. This is considered the 4th line, to the night market where there is a sea of ​​street food about 800m. Near the hotel there is a 7/11 store, a laundry, simple cafes, and exchange offices. We ate mainly at the market or closer to 2-3 lines. The hotel is not for families with children or the elderly. If you have pain in your legs, this is not for you either. I don’t understand people who deliberately choose this hotel and write reviews that it is on a mountain and is constantly going uphill. It’s difficult to please you in everyday life, too. Either physical education or you take a bike and everything is fine. Transparent toilet shower, it’s even cool 👍 there is a curtain. If you eat MJ together, what have you not seen from each other 😂 that could confuse you. There is air conditioning and it blows normally. The balcony is small, there is no separate dryer, there is simply nowhere to put it on the balcony, since the places are occupied by chairs and a table. If you didn’t like it, then most likely you don’t know how to choose a hotel for yourself and someone chose it for you without telling you the nuances.

My wife and I had a delightful stay at The Arch Hotel in Phuket. The Japanese-themed interior design was beautifully executed, creating a serene and stylish atmosphere throughout the property. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, and the staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring we felt welcome during our stay. However, the lack of a lift was a drawback, particularly for guests with heavy luggage or mobility concerns. Despite this, the overall experience was enjoyable, and we would recommend The Arch Hotel for its unique design and warm hospitality.

On arrival, I insisted on inspecting the room first. I've learned these days to always do that before I pay. There is no lift, so we walked up the stairs to be greeted by wafts of **** smoke smells. That sets the scene for this place. The rooms are nice and clean and pretty spacious. They all have amazing sea views. The problem is, there are no non smoking areas. There's cigarette and **** smoking everywhere. You literally can't sit by the pool after lunchtime without getting stoned! And I hate the smell of ******** and we don't smoke so we really did not come to the right place. In the morning, the debris from the parties of the downstairs rooms are all over the grass. Empty bottles, chip packets, cigarette butts, all around the sun loungers down by the pool. We were shocked that the hotel staff had not cleaned it up prior to 9am and us getting to the pool. They say they have a 24/7 service desk but we got stuck in Charong at some expats house, no taxi service availabe, uber didn't work, so we tried calling the hotel for an hour (9:15pm - 10pm) to see if they could organise a taxi for us, but they don't answer the phone. When we finally got back, there's a guy doing accounts or something on the front desk and I asked him why they don't answer the phone. He told me they don't answer it at night. The breakfast buffet is budget. The bacon is kept with the chef so you can't help yourself. The sausages look like floor sweepings (and one bite told me that's the case). There's barely a smile from any of the staff. Really terrible experience. If you're just after a room that's central and clean,and you can smoke **** and cigarettes all you like, but you don't care for the rest of the experience, then this is the place for you. The only other bonus was that there's no kids so the pool while stinky of smoke, is at least quiet.

I also chose this hotel after seeing the reviews of other travelers on Ctrip. The boss is Chinese, so it's easy to communicate with him, and he is very enthusiastic about introducing local delicious food and fun things. The rooms are independent or semi-independent suites, fully equipped with refrigerators, microwaves, and washing machines. The garden in the middle is very beautiful and has a large swimming pool that is cleaned every day. There are Thai, Chinese, and Western breakfasts in the morning, catering to the taste preferences of many guests. The hotel is located in the south of Phuket, not far from Rawai Seafood Market, and has convenient transportation (not far from the north-south main road, which can quickly reach Central Phuket or the old town). Not far from the hotel are convenience stores such as 7-11 and BigC, as well as local reliable massages. In short, the experience was very good. Next time I come here, I plan to go sea fishing and stay at this hotel.

Two points. First, I arrived at night. It was dark outside and I couldn't see anything. When I got up early the next morning and opened the curtains, I was stunned. The beautiful scenery is shown in the first picture. I immediately felt it was great. Second, the service was very good. When I arrived at night, I left my phone on my friend's car and couldn't contact him. The girl at the front desk was very helpful. She helped me call a taxi and comforted me that I was not in a hurry. The front desk the next day was also great. The attitude of consulting things was very good. There was also a guy who sent me to the bus station. Everyone was super great! Others, the room is spacious, clean and sanitary, with complete facilities in the room, breakfast is on the rooftop, and you can have breakfast with a sea view, Chinese service, a swimming pool, a gym, and the location is very close to the Ravi Seafood Market

My husband and I recently spent a wonderful long weekend at Naka Island and would definitely recommend this hotel. From the airport, the property is a quick drive and then five-minute boat trip, but yet we felt so far removed from the crowds and noise of many other parts of Phuket. We stayed in a garden pool villa which had almost 360-degree windows making you feel connected to the natural environment even while inside. The room had everything you could need, want, and then some. It was a beautiful, serene space that also did a lovely job of honoring its Thai roots. Outside was completely private, and we could sit by the pool either in the sun or in the shade on our covered, separate porch. Although we had our own plunge pool, we loved sitting by the main pool and enjoying the incredible views of the Andaman Sea. The food was great at all the restaurants, but we especially enjoyed our dinner at My Grill (kudos to Kit), and loved sunset at Z Bar which is an absolute must! The ladies who served us each night were fantastic! We also enjoyed kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, and biking. All equipment is provided complimentary by the hotel and was super easy to take out. The views are beautiful throughout the property, so staying in a garden villa was completely fine. But I must admit that we were able to see inside one of the ocean view villas when the gate was open for the cleaning staff, and the view was so stunning that I likely will pay the added cost to stay in one of those when we return. Some resort “ocean view” rooms are not worth the cost; I believe at Naka Island they definitely are. So … lovely room, yummy food, fun activities and stunning views … all these features definitely make Naka Island worth visiting. But what makes it so special and worth returning are the people. The warmth of the staff and what seemed to me a genuine desire to engage, befriend, and provide top-notch hospitality in every manner possible sets the hotel apart. Kudos to Kris for his role in creating this lovely environment and personally setting an example for his staff on how to make guests feel both comfortable and special. We look forward to returning to this little slice of heaven.
