There was, found the engineer, No Heating Element in the room after he'd removed the cover. The TV didn't work - the on-duty manager said Sorry, Hilton needed to send someone to connect it someday. The hotel is on a highway/dining desert - eating is confined to (overpriced) hotel restaurant. Two teabags and cups for three people/two days. Engineer scrounged a space heater to bring the temp to the 60s. No suitcase stand, no plastic cups in the bathroom. Bottled water $2.50 for guests less than "Gold" status. Lovely spider said hello. Worst Doubletree I've experienced.

Only two other diners in the restaurant and after waiting 40 minutes for a salad I left. The clerk at the desk said they were short staffed. How hard is it to make a salad?

Hot sweaty stay at overpriced hotel Was third in line for check in at around 4:30 pm. Took twenty minutes to get to me. Air conditioning was not working on a 90’/90% humidity day. Was first told it would probably be fixed by 6 pm. Later told that it would be fixed by 8. Finally came on at 9:30 pm. After an overnight flight and a long day I needed a comfortable place to rest. I was in the wrong place. To be fair, free bottled water was provided as well as access to a free shave ice truck. Was too tired to go anywhere so I sweltered in the heat in a very overpriced room.

Property was nice and nicely finished. BUT my room though nice looking….coffe maker didn’t work, hair dryer didn’t work, makeup mirror fell off wall, Those things matter a lot!!!

Generally the room was good. Unfortunately the makeup/magnifying mirror was falling off the wall. Once identified to staff it was fixed. One of the lotions supplied was totally empty & not replenished after housekeeping had been to the room. A direct call to guest services corrected this.

Nice staff- Room items broken Staff was friendly and helpful. But a lot of things were broken. Alarm rang at 5am, very difficult to turn off, tv impossible to use, room was dirty, lamps didn’t work.
