I stayed at Casona de Indias for a full week with my teammates while practicing for the world fly fishing championships. We had a fantastic time. Pedro took impeccable care of us. We had great food and his hospitality was genuine. If I ever make it back to Pilona I will definitely stay at Casona de Indias again.

The hotel is a 19th Century villa located in a tiny village up on a hill, with beautiful views all round. All rooms are large with modern en-suites, very comfortable & quiet. The hotel owner couldn't be more welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is generous, freshly-squeezed orange juice, selection of cheeses and cold meats, nuts, fruit, and more. There is a spacious lounge/gallery for guests with fantastic views over the hills and mountains, as far as the Picos. The region is perfect for walks and exploring nearby old towns & villages. You do need a car, as there are no transport facilities nearby.

Un buen lugar para relajarse y disfrutar del hotel.Buen lugar para moverse para ver pueblecitos de asturias queda todo bastante cerca.La tranquilidad es absoluta.El dueño un buen anfitrión busca ayudarte en todo y da buenos consejos.Las habitaciones son correctas y muy limpio todo.

Maravilloso lugar. Increible para desconectar y descansar. Todo cuidado hasta el mínimo detalle. El anfitrión, Pedro, siempre atento. Un placer charlar con el. Los desayunos son excelentes. Abundantes y con todos los productos naturales. Repetiremos sin duda.

¡Increible! Ya habíamos estado y bien, pero con el nuevo dueño desde 2021 es-pec-ta-cu-lar. La Casona está reformada con mucho gusto y queda a una distancia perfecta, a mitad del camino Gijón-Covadonga (que fue nuestro caso), pero también para estar cerca de cualquier punto del oriente Asturiano. Pedro es una persona con una vocación tardía. A parte del dueño es el recepcionista, botones, cocinero (chef) incluso, por circunstancias climatológicas, hasta taxista. Persona con conversación y sobre todo que le encanta agradar a quien recibe. Si vamos a casa de un amigo/familiar no nos atienden mejor.

La casona es muy bonita, está impecable, muy bien restaurada, decorada con mucho gusto, acogedora y enclavada en un paraje natural tranquilo y con vistas impresionantes, a 30-40 minutos de muchos puntos de interés, perfecta como punto de partida para conocer toda la zona. El dueño no puede ser más amable, atento a los detalles, pendiente del cliente y preocupado por hacer que la estancia sea perfecta. La comida sencilla y rica, abundante, con variedad de productos de la zona. Ideal para escapar de la rutina y desconectar. Excelente hotel rural.
